So, I figured that I'll officially close the triple commenting Flash Event. I think it did boost a couple people but overall it was mostly just Phil and I racking up extra points (even though we were getting 3 instead of 6). Ah, the Workshop Features Flash Event is still going if anyone's interested in that. 

Right, so the latest numbers. Phil is currently in the lead with 134 points, followed by Ragin Cajun at 68 and Relycs at 46. Zonnonn and Lissette are rather close to getting in front of Relycs and Kaiser and Wulf are only a step away from them (so the former are in the 40's and the latter are in the late 20's). So it still is close and if you want to get one of those First, Second or Third place badges, or just have the power to feature your content, then it's not impossible to win. Just posting 4 features would get anyone past Phil or...a lot of commenting *hint* *hint*

Now I'll be releasing another quick Flash Event for today only and it'll just be one of the question-based ones that will be coming up after this comment. 

Workshop Flash Event Question

Right, so here we go. The first question is aimed at everyone who's posted content in the Workshop for this event. What is your favourite (personal) piece of work that you've posted in August?  

The second question is aimed at people who might not have even entered the Event, or haven't posted anything (but anyone can answer it). And that question is simply...What do you think of the Workshop Commenting Event as a whole? 

Each question is worth 12 points and needs to be anywhere from 50 words to 500 words and really just needs to be left here in the next 24 hours.

So, has anything radical happened in the Event over the last few days? Well, Phil hit 150, then 160 and is now at 172 and has officially managed a lead of over 100 points. John (Ragin Cajun) is officially coming second with 68, Relycs is still third with 46 and Zonnonn is still cutting close to that 46 with 43 points. You might be able to catch me saying that Phil's first spot place is almost (almost) guaranteed but the second and third spots can both be taken. 

Lissette, Kaiser, Wulf, Zonnonn, Legion and Baldur are all within about 10 comments from being able to beat out Relycs (with a few being within the same distance of beating out John). Any of them could get even closer with an entry in the TSC Event, or really anything that's been posted in here and then is completed within the next week. 

So it's hardly a run-away contest, and there has been a tonne of content to comment on lately, and there are reasons to post content as always. 

So I wanted to announce some really awesome statistics just quickly. I'll do the full reveal at the end but for now.

We officially hit 50 different posts within the last month with 24 coming from people that aren't Sotek and Myself (who aren't participating and posted like crazy for various reasons) which is just awesome. And what's cooler is that we've had a total of 37/50 posts from everyone being finished and 11/24 for everyone but Sotek and myself. That is just absolutely amazing, and I want to make that really clear, seeing so much interesting, creative and just downright awesome content coming through this month has just been...really beyond words that I can think of.

I can't put it into words really, but I really hope this is going to continue being a trend. The last time I ran this Event it only had 19 pieces of content posted (which is 31 less than us) and out of them, only 2 were completed that month. In fact, I think most of what was posted then either never came out or didn't come out for months so there's already just a huge difference this year. I won't go into comments yet because that changes so often and is just unbelieable.

I would recommend to everyone that you should absolutely go out and comment on things while the Event is finishing up. We've got so much awesome content that's been posted recently, at the start of the month, earlier than that and you'd really be missing out if you didn't go give it a read. As a challenge I'd like to see if we can hit 40 more comments in the last chunk of this Event, it might not be possible but it's a challenge so, give it ya best shot :D

Just 3 more days left,  but man we've had some really cool changes, I guess. Really I just like all updates to my thread (where I'm keeping track of all the comments, points, etc.) but this is the first major change in the 'Top Three'. Phil's obviously still got first place at like 188 points which honestly is just kind of insane, and entirely awesome. John's coming behind him with 70 points but Soly has managed to get 3rd place with 50 points (which is the first change in a fair while). 

Relycs, Zonnonn, Lissette and Baldur are still well within a relatively quick distance. Wulf and Legion aren't too far off and Soly managed his rise in about a week for the most part so it isn't impossible to get to third or even second place before the Event ends. 

And the other day I was talking about hoping to hit 50 comments before the end of the Event. We're currently at 37, needing only 13 more comments in the next few days before we can hit a total of 180 (I think I screwed up the other day when I said the score) comments. As a private note, I'm trying to hit 50 comments over the Event myself and at the moment I'm at 47 so, that's kinda fun :D

Just wanted to let everyone that's missed it know that the Comment Event has been extended one week and we're running some really cool mini 'Challenge Flash Events' at the moment, most of the details are just posted in This Thread but I'll make sure to copy and paste it so that it shows up here too.

At the moment Phil is in the lead with 218 points, Ragin Cajun/John is 2nd with 70 points and Legion is 3rd with 68. As always that doesn't mean the 2nd and 3rd spots are set in stone, it is currently somewhat easier to change or pull ahead because of the Flash Events happening in the last week, which can change things  dramatically, but it's also possible to maintain more or less a 'normal' pattern of commenting, posting, etc. And making it through.

I'm not going to go into the details there because they're a bit personal for me, and ah... Well, there are two options. I can either just end the Event today, or if someone would like to step forward and run a Flash Event, I'll give them free leave to do so. Yep, today's Flash Event I guess is for someone to run their own Flash Event, heh.

So yeah, if anyone would like to step forward in the next hour and suggest and run a Flash Event then please let me know either by message or by comment. Either way, just kind of give me a quick pitch and I'll let you know if you can run it or not.

I finished the Exterminator revamp.

Well everyone, I just got back from a bit of personal business but the Event is officially over. Before I get into any of the awards, I'd just like to thank the 30 odd people who participated in this Event in some way. Some of you might not even know you participated, or might not have been participating at all but all pieces of content posted, all pieces finished and all comments posted on WiP's has been counted, and has been appreciated greatly by both me, and I'm sure everyone else.

Paws (PHIL), Relycs, Zonnonn, Sotek, Wulf, Lissette, Kaiser, Chris (Diokno), Accursed Gloom, Legion, The Lorc of Flowers (Karver), Ragin Cajun (John Leblanc), Amadeus/Pickle Rick/I think I saw more name changes :P, BaldurAnthology, Soly, RogueSilver, Midnight_Pheonix, Felkros, Edana, Aidence, Meli, Duvain, Motty, Exuro, Tenebrous, Ash, Valric, Golden Fool and Delta. 

Together the, 29 of you have really made the last 5 weeks an astonishing one in the Workshop. 148 comments were posted (excluding ones from the OP and shorter comments), 25 builds and short stories were posted, 44 other pieces of content were posted, 37 different pieces of content were finished and posted in their appropriate group and over 300 points were earned through various Flash Events. I can't even say how astounding this is, and that we managed to set all kinds of insane records over the last month in terms of production.

Now the bit you're all waiting for...Oh wait, nope that's it goodbye. 

I'm joking (and it doesn't work since you probably just noticed I had more text) :P. No, I wanted to finish up by naming the winners. 

In first place is Paws (PHIL) with 362 points. Phil has the single highest commenting score with over 60 individual comments over the last 5 weeks which would've earned him...probably around 150-200 of his points when you take into consideration the various, multi-point Flash Events. The sheer amount of care and effort that Phil put into just helping others, talking with them is something that is admired, appreciated and another couple words that I really can't think of right now. He also posted 6 pieces of work over the last 5 weeks, and I've got him down for completing each of them, which is really kind of cool.

You'll be getting the power to feature 5 pieces of content, that can either be yours or someone else's (and I have a feeling I know what you'd tend to lean towards XD) You're also going to be getting a fancy special badge in addition to your normal badge for participating.

Before I go to second place, I wanted a quick honorable mention for Sotek. At the start of the Event (actually slightly before), Sotek came to me letting me know that he was going to be posting an insane number of chapters from his story Union of the Wolf, and finishing most of them within about a day. Sotek decided to take part in the Event (have his points counted) but stepped down from being offered any sort of prize, or winning position at the end. He finished with 304 points with a good 20-40 of them coming from non-story related content which still is an awesome contribution. So thank you Sotek [Insert really badass howl here] :D

In second place is Lissette with 94 points. Now what's pretty cool about this, is that Liss has managed to earn 94 points despite being in the middle of moving and being Vault-Famous for having a piece of work in the Workshop for...what was it over a year Liss? It was definitely in the realm of a year and I think she was getting close to hitting 14 or so months. Anyway, Liss was involved in commenting, posting her own content (and consistently working on it), participating in various Flash Events including the Character Building Flash Event where she created her Lovelorn Dragonborn build in just one weekend (well most of it anyway).

You'll be getting a relatively similar reward, Liss, with 3 pieces of content that you can feature at any point (yours or others) as well as a fancy second place badge.

In third place is Legion with a close 86 points, that Lissette only topped in the last day. Legion has posted three pieces of content including his Flash Event RP Profile for a character who shall always be remembered as Brick in my mind (despite the fact that he had to go ahead and give it a 'normal', 'lore-friendly' name instead of just calling it Brick :P). 

Guess what the reward is Legion. Yep, 1 piece of content you can feature and a fancy third place badge.
