for the imperial and blades commander would the champions cudgel from dragonborn and the ebony blade be more aesthetically suiting as the champions cudgel is an imperial warhammer and the ebony blade even though you have to do a deadric quest to get it just looks like a dai katana and suits the blades armor

There's one problem with the Dawnguard commander. The Dawnguard helmets have the vampire damage reduction and block enchanting slots so you can't get the magicka enchantment on the Dawnguard commander.
Oh well, I suppose looking entirely awesome and wielding a very unique and powerful weapon make up for it.
+1

nord hero greatsword is better then skyforge because it is lighter. the damage is the same. i used this weapon on my nord character ( a mercenary ). the damage of this sword is 65 with not a single enchant on it.
the sword is powerfull because of the (flaweless) and the 4/5 barbarian skill perk. my character is Lvl 23 so it's a powerfull weapon. think about it. nice right.

Oh,how did I miss this? I think I'm going to try the Blades commander, never sided with them,or even used a follower, besides as a pack mule through certain dungeons....+1 from me,this sounds fun!

My original playthrough of this guy back in 2011 was what is most akin to the current Blades Commander, the quests where you take the Blades to go kill a dragon make you really feel like you're in your role
