Love the artwork and lore on this build. Am I reading this right? 150 stamina and not magicka? Doesn't seem like you need the green stuff that much on this build

Well, if you don´t have to spend points on Magicka, having at least something in Stamina for Silent Rolls and some more Sprinting isn´t a bad idea.

I wasn't familiar with the infinite cast on cerain spells so I can see your point there.

Don't sell yourself short, Karver. The roleplay and lore was all yours..this build wouldn't have even been worth playing without your spin on the roleplay.

    Thanks, man!

    xD

Change it up all you want, it's your playthrough. At least you're playing through, right? :D

The extra stamina was also helpful in the Incapacitated stage of the build, when we used the Nightingale Blade, as it allowed us to use more power attacks.

I'm going to put a like on this.  Just found it today from a post over on Mason's Seraphim thread.  I enjoyed the Seraphim immensely and was looking for something similar in a vampire.  Ponty's Nightguard was the closest but I wanted to be more "mage".  Going to give this one a run though.

What about adding skills in Alchemy and Enchanting?  Too much or is there a place for it do you think?

(edit) OK, now that I think about it Enchanting isn't needed with the concentration casting.  What about pulling from range?  Focus on just the Frenzy/Fear?

Hey, John. I´m glad you like this.

Enchanting isn´t really needed, Alchemy...well, the sword is used only sometimes, so not much use for poisons. We aimed to create this as pure non-crafting build, so it´s kinda hard for me to say if it would work the same way with crafting skills.

Pulling from range? Well, I don´t know how Kael, but I was using mainly Calm, I didn´t touch the Frenzy or Fear in my plathrough. I prefered to get close, crowdcontrol with Calm and spray the enemies with Flames.

I wouldn't really recommend taking enchanting, but we were actually considering Alchemy in the earlier stages of the build, after which we decided to make it a no-crafting build.

Alchemy is definitely worth using, and I can see it being quite a valuable asset to the build. Poisons could be of use in the first phase of the build, but after that they're not really worth it (unless you decided to keep the sword in the Awakened phase). As for potions, you could get access to the concentration casting glitch much earlier with your own potions - you could also get a lot of buffs, and that Darkling Blast move could be a lot easier to set up with more frequently available (not to mention stronger) destruction potions.

As for pulling from range, I also stuck to just using calm spells. I'd calm all the enemies and proceed to roast each separate one for dinner.

Thanks for the response guys.  Glad to see some builders are still around.  I got a real late start on this site and finding these epic builds.

Question for you both: Is the pickpocket tree really needed...or more of a role play thing for the build?  Usually with a few points and some gear (ring/necklace) you can nick just about anything.  Just wondered from your perspective.  I'm considering moving some of those points into enchanting...not to run the whole tree but more to be able to enchant gear with more fortify illusion.  I'm at level 11 and can't cast anything beyond a single Frenzy.  Not enough magicka for a calm or fear.  And casting a frenzy, if I miss, it gets ugly.
