The reasoning for it that I have seen, was that unlike the other specialties which are all fairly acceptable, blood magic is feared the most by pretty much everyone and having the Inquisitor become one would mean having quite a few more reactions to it than the others. Which would take away from other things in the game.

On it's own it's a decent game, but it had the misfortune of being the sequel to Origins and so the fans and their nostalgia glasses came down on it hard because it wasn't as good as the first one.Which I agree with but it's not as bad a game as the internet makes out.
The combat is nicer, but it also reuses areas a lot.

Great build, GF! Every time I bump in to a blood mage (which is actually pretty rare) I always gauge it by how much it creeps me out... this guy is pretty freaking creepy!
The backstory establishes that evil blood mage vibe right away, helps the reader envision just what this lizard is all about, and even explains the mechanics behind the build all at the same time. Often backstory becomes a kind of filler, but you use it quite effectively in this case.
This is a succinct, excellently presented, and fun read; again, great job on this!

This is really cool, I love the dragon age aspect's to it. Blood mage is my favorite specialization in DAO and DA2. I'm looking forward to playing this one :)
