    I mean hircine is technically not a god he is a daedric prince so it doesn't really make sense...

    You can pick up storm cloak officer gear at anytime at forelhost. No need to do the main quest.

    Yeah, but daedric princes are gods in a sense. Maybe not by name, but they are immortal and have supernatural powers, what gets more god-like than that?

    To clarify, you have to side with Ralof during Unbound, and only then will Captain Valmir show up in Stormcloak Officer Armor when you go to Forelhost.

    If you side with Hadvar, Valmir changes into Stormcloak armor when you finish Siege of the Dragon Cult. I think that's right...

    Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Clearing out Forelhost is a pain in the ass though.
