It's a nice build, but when playing a cost reduced heavy armored pyromancer, why would you use multiple fire spells when you can essentially cast the highest single target and higest AOE spells to win most fights?

So it's gonna be "Dual cast incinerate lock down" or "Dual cast fireball Lock down"

Them, maybe when bored, wall of flames + Flame Cloack + Become ethereal, begin charging firestorm and when BE ends, release

Yeah.... Am gonna like it for the simplicity, but really, this is something i ran when i first recieved skyrim... Punching things though, I dig!

Set it on fire and punch it in the face. LOL! +1

This is brilliant, sheer simplicity distilled into the most OP build I've seen with only three proper skills. The cheeky humour makes this build fun to read too. I'll definitely give this build a go. +1 from me!

In steel plate armor you really look like a golem. +1. To boost the armor rate I'd put some effort in smithing. Not much, just until level 50 and pick up Advanced Armor perk, this is the perk to improve steel plate armor 2x better. And maybe I'd create 4x +25% smithing item and drink a blacksmith elixir. I didn't calculate it but probably you would be close to the armor cap

Funny build! Shouldn't the ring not be enchanted with Fortify Unarmed and Fortify Health or Magicka Resistance 8nstead? One cab ditch the Fortify Destruction when diving into Black Books on Solsteim and improve the enchanting skill to over 100.

The ring isn't enchanted with Unarmed, it's Destruction/Shock Resistance. What's this whole "improve enchanting skill to over 100" thing with the Black Books you're talking about? The only thing I can think of is Seeker of Sorcery, but that's a 10% Fortify Enchanting effect; it doesn't affect the skill level itself. Ahzidal's Genius is the one that actually raises the enchanting skill, but even then, I don't see how it's raising the skill enough to ditch the Fortify Destruction.

On a side note, this would be a really bad character to take to Solstheim. 75% Fire resistant Ash Spawn ftl.

My bad, it's indeed the Ahzidal's Armor which gives the Enchanting boost, the Black Book is used for Alchemy which is exactly the reason I confused these two as I often use them simultaneously. As this character doesn't use alchemy he is as strong as he is already, as far as I can tell. Unless... you still want to go Ahzidal Enchanting and up the magicka resistance so the ring can have Unarmed as well? But I bet that's all up to the player. Personally I like this build as it is in all its simplicity and who knows: maybe my ideas would just remove that by adding too much. I get your point on the Ash Spawns, but what shows resistance to fire will get the fist, right? ;) And of course you could always pick up (or make) a Destruction Staff based on one of the other two elements. It will only benefit from your Destruction enchantments.

Considering the author makes no reference to the DLC, it's possible that he wanted to make the build workable in the vanilla game or perhaps he lacks the DLC himself.

And yes, the Ash Spawn would get the fist
