    Yes, if you want to use 2H weapons it shouldn't be a problem, it will be a little more difficult with the slower attack speed, but possible. If Skyrim only had a proper 2H katana (No-Dachi) the build would be like that.

    Ebony Flesh alone only offers 45% protection.

    Edit: Maybe less :p ReEdit: 36% protection

    Isn't the Ebony Blade a 2H katana?

    Yes, but I really don't like it since it uses one handed skill though it is a 2H weapon. Besides, the sword can only get stronger when you slay followers with it and as this build is a lone wolf, that's why I didn't take it. I don't know though if that bug is already fixed or not, but the enchantment is really good and usable for the Maiden. 

    2H weapons are viable, I just went for 1H because I thought it gives the Maiden some elegance.

    As I say in my other builds, you can play it any way you want, this is just a blueprint.

    Yea I think the ebony sword is way too big to be a samurai sword. I was thinking of making a character character who defends witches. I was thinking he could fight with a rapier sword so one handed, alteration, restoration, speech and alchemy. What do you think?

    Sounds great! I am really curious how you want to protect those witches then. For so far I know all witches are hostile. You could tune this Guardian in with nature as witches partly do, so animal allegiance and stuff like that. 

    It will be a solid build skill wise!

    The sword doesn't get stronger only by slaying followers, there are multiple ways to get it stronger and the Ebony Blade patched in 1.9.

    What do you think would be better, a samurai themed character or a european themed character?
