Multi Rune drops one after another also helps to do a lot of dps, dropping fire, then ice then lightning gets synergy bonuses.

I noticed that Rune Spells have been updated on the ES Wiki and now state that destruction augmentations will increase their power. This is good news for builds like this one, makes Runes more viable for end game fun by increasing them to 165 damage duel casted...

So you're saying you can stack up runes as long as you use different elements?? That's fresh news to me, I thought I'd have noticed that before!

So you could potentially create a 500 damage mega-trap to lure goons on?

Haha! Yeah, I just scuttled off to try it myself, it doesn't work. I'm guessing he was talking about walls not runes...

haha I meant cast one rune, once it explodes place another down, since high mana regen you should have enough to chain cast one rune after another. Sorry about the confusion

I first tried to use it with simply Runes and spells but it just became boring rinse and repeat and focused way too much on using offensive projectile spells rather than tactics.

But yeah stealthing up to someone then dropping a rune on them and having them search for you is fun as well, just time consuming when you wait for them to reset their location. >.<

Another cool option I played around with was using Aetherial Shield to bash enemies into ethereal form and then laying walls and runes down.

I just realised using the Dawnguard Rune Warhammer would also help here to level and get a free rune essentially since Stamina doesn't matter to this build.

    Updated:

Optional Gear: The Dawnguard Rune Hammer allows your Stamina to drop a Fire Rune, this can save your mana and use Stamina which is usually not in use. This is if you go Dawnguard instead of Vampires.

This build looks amazing!  Think I wanna try it.  Only thing I'd change really are the boots, I'd fish the shops for enchanted muffle gear so I can get the enchant for vampire boots.  Think the best chances to get Muffle is level 11 using the save reload technique on a blacksmith.

Quick question. The enchanted gloves +20 magicka, is that based off no leveling on the enchantment skill tree?
