Awesome post James! I almost always use the Fire Storm scroll in Dimhollow on the pair of vampires and their thrall before meeting Serana. Had no idea it was doing all this though! This is incredible. Too bad there's no ability/spell that temporarily turns targets undead :p nonetheless, undead beware!! I'm pretty excited to hear about the Dawnbreaker info you have. Is that next? Or something with Aspect of Terror?

Likely be finishing my taper discussions with sun damage and dawnbreaker/bane of the undead. Over the past month I've come to know the true glory of dawnbreaker when fully realized and it's now my favourite weapon in the game.

It uses a form of Bane of the Undead which also has a long taper duration so when combined with the Necromage perk it does an absurd amount of damage for a sword you can get before level 20! Still have a lot of testing I want to do with Auriel's bow but so far it's an incredible weapon.

My favourite part of testing this was getting to tell Teccam that I oneshot a Frost dragon! I didn't get into it with this discussion (although I may add a subsection tomorrow) but I was having a blast (hah, get it?) pickpocketing weakness to fire poisons then nuking bandits and other ninja tactics. When you use the high level destruction potions and weakness poisons the damage gets to the point where you can pretty much kill everything in a single cast. Unfortunately Alduin is strong to fire but other bosses aren't. Miraak is a joke, just charge firestorm while he's absorbing a dragon soul to heal himself and unleash!

Auriel's Bow is another favorite of mine. I haven't used Sun Damage too much but I plan on changing that very soon. Maybe your posts will motivate me lol :)

The sun spells are surprisingly good, particularily because you'll level restoration faster and be able to unlock necromage early on. Dual casted vampires bane does fantastic damage to the undead and has the fantastic side effect of not being harmful to the living so when you get those arsehole master vampires attacking a city you're able to save the town folk!

Sunfire is probably the most magicka efficient spell in the game for what it does.

Not sure how I missed this ... o_O

Great stuff James. Can't wait to see the third discussion. I was lucky enough to get a bit of a sneak peek for parts 1 and 2, but part 3 will be new to me and I'm very pumped!

I don't think many people read it

A discussion showing how to do thousands of damage with destruction and it's my least 'liked' one that I've done, who knew!  Sun spells and a few misc. will come eventually.  These recent topics have literally taken me over a month and a half to put together and I'm kind of burned-out, didn't get the reception I had expected so I think I'll move on to other things for a while.

I come from a background where this would be considered 'dumbed down' (for lack of a better term).  I'm not really sure what I expected.

I don't wish to sound like I'm complaining so I'll drop it.  More than anything I should be happy that others find this stuff interesting...that's all that really matters.

I can't see you making it easier to read than it actually is. If people can't make simple divisions and multiplications it's their problem. I think your posts are much easier to follow than Nikolaj's. You know how you can make more people to read it? Add a picture on top. People like pictures. I'm fine with your current format and sometimes even wish for heavier math
