Oh dear, thanks for making me realize that. Great oversight on my part, will fix that right away.

Man, I can't help but like a build based on Scar. Also, the use of the DnD glitch is a very ingenious way of ACTUALLY molding the environment in the game (might be one of the only ways, in fact). Easy +1. Now, if only you made the character a Nord with golden hair and eyes and put him in full, enchanted steel plate armor...just saying

Before reading the closing notes, I knew already that this build was based on FMA. I looked at it all the time back in those years. I was always a fan of it! You pulled it off and established it into the Skyrim world perfectly. I am amazed about your work and detail into this. ( I'm not surprised, you're known for great quality builds like this and especially your Squire one a few months ago. That is my favorite one )

A question that I have and it may not be the best place to ask is,  how several builds on here rely on unarmed combat because of the Fists of steel perk. I can see in the beginning, when the character starts out, unarmed attacks are a good physical more swifter way of defeating your enemies but as the character raises up to like endgame level, it becomes obsolete. How do characters that rely on unarmed attacks manage the steep change. By marked for death? is there a fortify unarmed damage potion? I know there is an enchantment for it, but that can only go but so far. Even if the character has 100 in enchanting. It has always bugged me.

Regardless, Another find piece of art right here. Its presented and balanced in the highest degree. Keep them comin'.

Thanks Williams for the like and support!

I don't remember making a squire build, but if it's the Knight of Traitorous, i'm glad it left an impression.

Now for your question. Like the Knight, the Arcane Architects also keeps damage scaled with fortify marksman potions. Additional layers to boost unarmed are marked for death (deconstruction of Armor),veggie soup/adreneline rush (to sustain three-punch power attacks), or my personal favourite, slow time+Advanced unarmed combat.

I like to think of it as an extension of the melee weapon lineup. Maces are at one end of the spectrum with high damage and low speed, while daggers at another, with low damage but high speed. I pretended that fists come after daggers, with not-very-scaling damage, but very high rate of fire. it's what, imo, keeps unarmed relevant even late game and on higher difficulties.

Thanks again for the support, cheers!

A Fortify Marksman potion boosts the effects of weapon damage, unarmed included

Nah, the main characters have to come in a combo, I feel. Alphonse or Edward alone seems very uncharacteristic. There is, however, one more build coming up very soon, and there's a hint left at the quests section :D

Thanks again for the support, really appreciate it!

Ah, I left a like and never left my comment...I knew I missed something here.

Personally I think this is a great build, with an awesomely done presentation, a well done character and some pretty nifty glitches/exploits. Your translation from FMA seems pretty good, though never actually finishing the show makes it hard to put exactly, but it appears good on this side

Nice work on your build Doc, definetly a nice job.

Yeah, I know what you  mean, it's kind of weird thinking in one without the other, so fair enough. And  I think I see where you are going for the next one. If it is what I think it is, then MAN, that'd be cool. I'm highly anticipating it =)

Interesting! I'll have to keep that in mind. I figured MfD would be instrumental to the cause and, as for slow time, just one word of that shout can let your character go beast mode on desired targets within seconds. I'm no stranger to that method LOL.

Fortify Marksmen potions ups unarmed damage, IF the game isn't patched. So that's how the people on here do it. Kind of like the Fortify Restoration glitch. Thank you for clarifying that for me Doc. This changes my view about the matter altogether. With builds like this made, you can always count me in it for a good read!
