Contest Build: The Avenger of Windhelm

  So your build is the Avenger of Windhelm, but a lot of your quests are outside of that...Maybe work on mentioning more quests specific to Windhelm, or a little more detail as to why Windhelm. I get the whole Ulfric dad thing, I guess I was just hoping for a bit more reason for Windhelm being your main city.

  I see what you're getting at Teej. I honestly thought I had at least one more quest in Windhelm mentioned in there but I think it got axed from the final draft for some reason. I can't remember why exactly though, I've had this build ready to go for about a week and it went through a LOT of iterations and revisions lol. Thanks for the feedback :)

  It's really a fantastic picture . I mostly picked it because it bears a pretty striking resemblance to my Avenger in his final gear.

  I told myself I wouldn't read any of the contest builds until I finished mine, but I couldn't resist xD This is pretty cool, and certainly a fantastic first build. I'll almost always throw a like at a build that perks one AND two-handed, and you hit the nail on the head for this: varied playstyle and combat approaches will keep you playing this build for quite a while... I can appreciate that. I would liked to have seen a section on your approach to varying combat scenarios: bosses, mobs, dragons and whatnot... I always enjoy reading about how others take it to the bad guys xD My personal preferences aside, great build, and a great start for the contest :D

  I really kinda struggled with that. Mostly, I felt like a spellsword is a pretty self-explanatory playstyle, especially with the theme of this guy obviously being fire based. And a two-handed playstyle is even more simplistic than a spellsword. Having looked at more and more builds beyond just a cursory glance, I've gotten some ideas. It's definitely something I can incorporate into future builds... And who knows,I may toss a few concepts into this guy before the contest ends ;D

  I added a couple more Windhelm-centric quests, and added a Combat section (after roleplay) based on some of the feedback I received here. Thanks for all the great advice folks. This has really been a blast.
