Very nicely done, guys! Impeccable presentation, one of the ore intresting backstories/roleplaying angles I've seen in a good long time, and some cool gameplay as well.
Even brought some new things to the tale for me -- I'd never considered using Barbas as a follower, and I had no idea he's invincible. Does he do much damage in combat or is he mostly just there as a distraction and general companion presence? Call me stupid, but another thing I never knew is that paralysis affects the undead ... I haven't used it that much in general, and I guess I just figured it must not affect them (that was the case in Oblivion, wasn't it?). Very good to know!
Combat seems fairly straightforward. Slightly more menu juggling than I tend to prefer, but given the seven powers of the Lanthorn (which, it seems, come from the source material) you guys did a good job making it appear functional. Another thing I tend not to like in general is to use unarmored clothing with armored boots and gauntlets, but it looks ,ike you guys found a way to make it work pretty well here, with MFD, the Ritual, enchantments, and paralysis to help counteract the inherent weakness that comes from such a kit.
Overall, very nice build. Well done!

Well, I've been waiting for this one and it doesn't disappoint. I really liked how you dealt with the seven bells and uh the Disreputable Dog +1

Thanks, Borom!
It was Lozhar's decision to incorporate the glass gauntlet and boots into the gear (I get too focused on armored vs unarmored that I kind of overlook those options).
When I stumbled on the original for that image for the Roleplay section, it was one of those spotlight/choirs-of-angels-singing things... editing was actually the easy part xD

Rugged individualists should never feel weird and selfish for blazing their own trails xD
Thanks, though... that's the highest kind of praise! While I don't mind playing other people's builds, I'll admit that I've never found a build so perfectly tuned in to me that I haven't changed at least one or two significant features.
Likewise, I'm sure you'd change some things, but it was still a lot of fun playing this one ;D

Thanks, Zonnonn!
This was my first ever rune-only build for Destruction (except for certain quests that require you to use spells like Flames or something (Sarthaal, I'm looking at you)). Those runes are an absolute kick... can't believe I've been ignoring them for so long.
We only chose One-handed because Lirael wields a One-handed sword, but this could just as easily be played 2-H (and would perhaps be more deadly doing so). I used most of my magic at the beginning of a combat scenario, and by the time I got to melee I ignored magic almost completely (unless it was to heal myself or occasionally toss out a Paralyze spell) until the combat was over. If you like 2-H, this build crosses over pretty easily ;D

Thanks for the kind words!
Barbas was a pleasant surprise for me, and I loved having him around. I know that his constantly bumping into you drives some people nuts (heard one person say that he knocked him off a cliff), but after my second playthrough it felt weird stopping and not having something nudge me out of position... it felt lonely xD
I give credit to Lozhar for gear loadout... he always knows how to make 'meh' look good ;D

I've got to read GoT! of got the set just sitting in my room, but it always finds itself just one or two down from whatever current list I've got.
I just copy and past from the last build Lozhar and I do... then add stuff. It's easier than actually updating my profile page. Man, I suck at keeping up with that! Interestingly, it was doing that that caused me to lose all the writing I lost last week. Pasted links into my google doc instead of HTML code... went back to discover I had closed my 'add discussion' box. SO STUPID! xD
