I left that in deliberately ;)

I thought it would be a nice little ironic thing to keep in

There was another, more straightforward one but it got deleted for some odd reason, which is odd, because I recall that it got over 20 likes. Anyway, you're welcome!

It's such a tricky build to get right, it's why we've seen so many failed offerings in the past and all of them hadn't been playtested.

Armor rating was a massive problem when I tried a 'pure' vigilant, it simply won't level when wearing only the gloves and boots, this is definitely reflected in your perk placement at level 30 (first thing I checked to see if you'd tried the build properly).

If you're still playing this character you should go and pick up Belrand from Solitude, he functions exactly the same as your build and is a very durable follower, he'll cast his healing and flesh spells and even specialises in conjure familiar like you have here...

As you're an Orc you should find it easy to get in to the Orc Strongholds during the lower levels, the one near Markarth has a very good heavy armor trainer that you should look into to help people get through those earlier levels when you're still in full 'Vigilant Mode'.

Paralysis is worth a mention here as well because it was such an important spell at later levels for my own vigilant (I was running pure melee though).

Good job Tae! The purest in me felt a little let down by the move to full Dawnguard armor towards the end of the build but I understand completely why you chose that path!

I can assure you, this has been playtested, I'm actually still going :)

Agreed. Training was pretty much my only source.

I'll make sure to do that! He sounds awesome.

I'll make sure to mention that in my roleplay.

I felt that paralysis was too 'dirty' for this guy., That's why I left off the paralysis perks for archery and one hand, the same with decapitation.

Thanks, mason! Your praise is always a pleasure to receive ^_^

Haha! Paralysis is too dirty for any character IMO, completely saved my ass with this one though...

    Nice work!

Oh, and Belrand is indeed awesome...

If I was gonna play this, what mods would you recommend I use?

There isn't any I really use that enhance the combat or anything... You don't really need mods. I suppose the Unofficial Patches would help
