Character Build: The Undead Hunter

    I was going to use the "Cinder Arrow" on my Demon Hunter! Except I called it "Dragon's Breath". Fire Damage + Fiery Soul Trap + Exploding Dwarvan Bolt of Fire. That's about 55 fire damage + the base damage of your crossbow and bolts. I was also going to have another with Chaos Damage and something else. Possibly paralyze? For up close and personal.

    I thought about using paralyze (there are several dh runes that add a chance to stun), but I feel it's too strong.

    Love the build-will play it next-anybody know of a mod for one handed crossbows? LOL! +1

    I do. I think it's just called one-handed crossbows.

    I love it, I'll have to try this at some point. I love the idea of whipping out a pair of crossbows and impaling my enemies rapid-fire style. I think if I set myself some boundaries when it comes to how many shots I'm allowed to chain, then this could prove to be an interesting and fun playthrough.

    The combat seems cool, but I'm not really feeling it role-play wise. Who is the Undead Hunter? Why did she begin hunting undead? Does she worship any gods, namely Meridia, who hates the undead? What about faction alliance? She seems like she'd make a decent assassin, but the Dark Brotherhood has a vampire in it - would that affect whether or not she joined or destroyed it? 

    What I see here i already pretty good, but it doesn't feel complete without some back story and explanation of the character's motivations and how they would react to the situations presented in game. I know this was posted in June, but I'm hoping you'll come back to this build and update it.

    I gave it a like but it seems all over the place. No motivation for bring an undead hunter and just feels like you saw the glitch and threw it together with a chat être. I suggest fleshing it out a bit more

    I agree with you on that point, the build is solid, but could use a roleplaying section, tips and strategies, and a bit more polish. This is a good build but could be a lot better.

    This is a nice build. It's a shame the embedded videos aren't working anymore.
