Thank you, Matt! You wrote words from my mind!

Well, I need more than 2 sentences that doesn't explain much about him (why he can use spiders, why he loves Dwemer, why Dwemer specifically and not falmer, etc). But that's just me

I get my ideas for RP by looking at other people's characters. I can read how they play their characters and then wonder "what if the character did this, or why would they choose this, or how would they feel about being dragonborn, etc.", it gives me ideas

    ?

Last time I checked this was the character building group. If you want roleplaying ideas to use with your character you go to the roleplaying group, that's what it exists for...

Loading up on roleplay can potentially spoil a build because my idea of RP will be completely different to everyone elses.

I checked out your S of Order build Bryn and found this marked under 'roleplay':-

"• If you choose to adopt children give them daggers and training dummies so when they grow up they can join the order

    • give beggars money

    • If you choose a follower, make it a female so they can join your order

    • After you kill your target leave a flower on their corpse out of respect"

All well and good but not exactly the most inspired section either.

The entire build is role play based... without roleplay, it is just an assassin that uses magic. without roleplay you have no real reason to destroy the dark brotherhood when the reward is better when you join the Questline. And a build doesn't really entice me to play without some form of role playing. This, 2 sentences... That's it

I am honestly not a fan of crossbows (I love bows though), but it is still a great build. It seems very playable, and a little quirky with your band of clanking, steaming, whistling, exploding, and sizzling minions.

I think his point was it isn't a very fleshed out section.

I immediately jumped all over the spider scrolls when the dlc came out, eager to abuse them, However, I found them terribly annoying.

Zoning while having a bunch summoned can be a royal pain. In particular I found using dwemer elevators almost impossible at times since when you zone in (before unlocking the doors) you tend to spawn outside and unable to reach the lever to unlock them. The college of winterhold was a complete disaster for me because of its odd layout, anytime I went to the library my game completely glitches out. The biggest issue I had was close quarters combat. The spiders love to huddle around you and at times it can make any narrow passage virtually impassable. They also have terrible vision range and half the time won't attack anything (especially if you use range) and if you use magic by god don't use any area of effect spells as they immediately turn hostile and will kill you in seconds. Due to this I found it virtually impossible to use a magic follower (eg. Serana) because at higher levels they favor area of effect spells such as chain lightning.

Those spiders were an absolute nightmare to manage and unless you use dupe glitches you aren't going to have a good supply of them for very long, particularly if you use exploding ones. In all honesty I would have left the spiders out of this build since they are little more than a gimmick. However when you take them away this build seems rather thin and far too similar to a few other builds. A dwemer focused 'tinkerer' that decks their follower out in full dwarven and uses aetherial staff to have a robot follower...sounds vaguely familiar. The new dlc content adds to that other build but hardly creates enough originality to have a new unique build. I typically love your builds, this one...not so much, unfortunately.

Yeah, but the whole build is a role playing idea centered around being something you can't be... If the point of the tinkerer is to be a enthusiast on Dwemer technology, you can do that, you can't join the sisters of order...
