You don't need a healing skill in Skyrim, it just makes it cheaper, but I have more then enough gold anyway. So I use healing potions. You can buy them in ever city and find them everywhere as loot.
And you can always adjust the build to include alchemy if it makes you feel more comfortable :) The RP is the primary aspect here anyway.

I am glad you are enjoying it. If you are on PC I would love to see a an in action screenshot of him when he is kitted out.
You'll lose the 25% damage bonus from the Yol meditation, but you can use that on Fos (Stagger effects) anyway, and you'll get an extra shout to play with ;)

This may be a stupid question but I am having trouble picking a name, at first I was thinking Helix or Helios, but since it will be a Fire Dragon maybe Toorsah or is Helix ok?

Dragons in Skyrim seem to be named for their actions or life. Such as Durnehviir (Curse Never Dying), Alduin (Destroyer Devour Master), Paarthurnax (Ambition Tyranny/Overlord Cruelty (Thur has two meanings)) Etc. Hench I named him Yoldurvith (Fire Curse Serpent). A Fire dragon Cursed to live as a Serpent
It is of course not a must, and you can make your own name as you see fit. I used this wiki site to make every name in the build. It contains every dragon word spoken in the game and its English translation.
Toorsah means Inferno Phantom which in my opinion is fitting, though it seems tradision to have three words. May I suggest Toorsahnax (Inferno Phantom Cruelty), Toorsahin (Inferno Phantom Master).
Hope that helps. And sorry for the late reply. I went to bed 11 hours ago xD
