Hmm, what other roleplays have I done? Theres a whole couple of pages on the UESP you could link to, but those are Skyrim ones. Never mind, they got an Oblivion one

I´ll copy-paste it, and I´ll put it there as a Scavenger. It is quite good thinking. I mean, it is pretty much about stealing from dead people. Everytime you see a dead "something" you will want to sell everything the poor sod has. Or had.

I´ll certainly put that link here. Thanks, Chris.

    No problemo, Karverino!

I´ll just pretend you did not use Italianglish right now...

So I had this idea about - don´t laugh- Drain Cleaner. I know how it sounds, but during my thousands of hours in Oblivion a believe I nevev get to know the Sewers under Imperial City. I never explored them completely. Only times was in Sewers was with Baurus to get to the Meeting and then infiltrating the prison to kill Valen Dreth.

The idea is pretty much what it says. Cleaning the sewers from things that shouldn´t be there. Eating rats and mudcrabs, roasting goblins on fire and this kind of things.

    What do ya think?

    HAHAHAHAHA :p

In all seriousness,  that sounds like a interesting playstyle, but not a particularly realistic roleplay.

I quite like this, thematically it's identical to a Ranger concept. The Ranger protects civilisation from the monsters of the wild, this "urban ranger" protects civilisation form the horrors below the unsuspecting populace's feet.

Like Karver I never explored the sewers fully, but I am curious as to what secrets I may have missed.

I wonder if this idea could be extrapolated to the other cities? They have no sewers, but maybe an urban ranger would find it morally justifiable to break into houses in order to guard the folk from unseen and unknown dangers, like the Mythic Dawn agents who are in almost every city?

@Prisoner The idea was something like Phil mentioned, it wasn´t about cleaning shit

@Phil To be honest, Urban Ranger much better than Shit Cleaner I think you will have to help me here with naming this kind of roleplay.

I´m not sure about other cities, Phil. Maybe if there was some mod that would add complex sewers to them. And why would you break into houses? And more precisely what would you do there? Watch the people sleep all night? *Cough* stalker... That doesn´t sound like entertaining roleplay.

I was just extrapolating a ranger concept into an urban setting. A ranger goes into caves and abandoned forts to clean out those who may threaten the people. An urban ranger might go into houses for the same reason, especially once the Mythic Dawn assassins start popping up left and right.

But yeah, watching them sleep and rifling through their underwear draws would be a healthy roleplay activity.
