    So I just have to check...simply because it's going to bug me and I'd like to get it out of the way before any official counting begins.

    Are these builds that have been posted after the cut-off going to count as Contest Builds, I get that people are busy and I wasn't going to say anything when it was just Shin's Build (it was what, an hour late or something) but now that we've had more builds be posted after this date it's kind of bugging me.

    I know people are just going to say that I'm trying to win (I'm not, as much as I'd like to win I wouldn't sabotage another person's attempt). I think it's a tad unfair if some builds aren't posted on time and they can still win. 

    If you guys want to take this privately (after the success of the previous contests I can imagine you'd prefer it) then that's fine by me. I just want to get this out of the way so no future hostility can come out of it.

    I feel like this is directed mostly as myself and Raidriar. I had intended to have this build posted a day ago, but a sudden and hectic work schedule took priority. We try to cut people some slack in the event theyre a tad late posting their event/contest build as we dont want to force builders to choose between real life obligations and whatever's going on in the Vault. 

    But if you think Raid and I should pull our build out of the contest, we can talk it over. What do the rest of you think?

    This isn't directed anyone personally Curse (don't take it that way please). I don't want it to seem like I'm asking you to pull your build. I get that having a hectic real life schedule makes it difficult to contribute to the Vault and I'm not saying that anyone should put this site ahead of their work/school.

    However I do think that comparing this to Events isn't the right track. These aren't Events, there is an actual prize for winning, a reason for having the Contest cut off. I'm not saying that these builds should be penalized this time (though that's up to the Hosts of CB to talk about) but in the future it the cut-off should be stricter.

    Well we had a long discussion about CB contests not long ago, surely there is room for a little lateness? I know some people spend weeks preparing a build for a "show" and to have it excluded from competition because it was a little late would be galling to say the least, there are some who would say rules is rules but it the case of a build that is a little late a compromise can be reached, we are all grown ups here lets keep the friendly rivalry, well friendly

    It's been a long wait, but the dust of the third CB contest has finally settled and we have our winners!

    Third Place: Vul Vokun by Kai'thanJin

    Second Place: The Bloodclaw by Taecame V

    First Place: Riften's Most Wanted by Raidriar Never Dies

    Congratulations to both our winners and everyone who participated!

    Woo hoo! A place on the stand :D I don't know about the rest of the team (they're FIERCE competitors), but I'm usually pretty happy getting to stand by the winners... victory via association ;D Good job, and a well-deserved congrats to RND, Taecame V, and to ALL the contest participants. You all made the experience crazy-fun to follow :D
