Well, many nobles become officers. Look at Skyrim's Jarls. Every one of them had someone of their family fight in the war or even fought themselves. And many other Skyrim nobles too. Most of the Dominion officers and high ranked Thalmor are nobles too. 

But if he is a cowardly skeever, it's okay. Dk why it would be Falkreath Jarl who knew him, when Chaydinhall is closer to Riften, but it's still possible. Also it could be any merchant.

Quite careless of him, to not care about a fellow who apparently wants to kill him.

He doesn't have to specifically ask about him. Might just be talking to some person and they could mention it.

Ostium crossed a small River and snuck closer to the Fort. He spotted some rubble on the side that he could use to jump over the Wall. He entered the Fort and proceeded to Pickpocket what he could from the Bandits. He found a sleeping Bandit and sunk his Fangs into him replenishing himself. After a few close calls Ostium managed to steel a few Septims and a Ruby. He snuck out the Fort and went back Home to Meeko.

Journey for the Cursed

Ostium got Home and put down his Bow. He noticed a deep crack in the Bows Grip. "It must have happened when i blocked the attack from the Assassin. I need to get it fixed and i am running low on Ingredients". Ostium pulled out his Map and looked for the nearest town. He decided on Riften and packed up some of his Potions he could sell. As he went out the door Ostium stuck 2 Arrows into the Doorframe at Waist height so he could see if someone entered the Shack while he was gone.

Him and Meeko made their way to Riften. They came upon a Frostbite Spider which was taken care of by a few Arrows. Ostium drained the Spiders Venom and Took its Fangs wrapped them in some Leather and stored them in his Bag. After 2 Hours of Wandering the Road Ostium Heard shouting and Loud stomping coming from the Woods. The Two of them rushed to see a Group of Orcs Fighting a Giant infront of an encampment. Ostium searched his bag for a Paralysis Poison and applied it to his Arrow. He hit the Giant in its Back, it turned arround took a Step and fell over. The Orcs were confused and stopped attacking. Ostium came running through the Bushes and Shouted to the Orcs "Dont stop He is only Paralysed!". The orcs started Beating on the Giants Head while Ostium kept Shooting Arrows mid Sprint. The Giant tried to get up but collapsed to the Ground dead. The Orcs cheered and Ostium was approached by a Orc Woman wearing Robes. She introduced herself as Atub and explained the situation to Ostium. She needs his help to lift the Curse on the Tribe. They cant leave the Stronghold due to the Giants but She requires Troll Fat and a Deadra Heart. Ostium agreed to Help and went on his way to Riften. He arrived at the Gate but gets stopped by a Guard who demands a fee to enter the City. Ostiums calls his Bluff to which the Guard let him enter the City.

Ostium asked a Guard where to find the Alchemy store and Smith. He went to the Smith First in order to Fix his Bow, but the Smith had something even better for Sale. A Dwarven Bow. Ostium Sold his Bow and bought the Dwarven Bow and an Orcish Dagger. Then he went on to Visit the Alchemy Store which to his dismay did not sell Troll Fat or a Deadra Heart. He boughta few rare Ingredients including a Hagravens Claw, Glowdust and Ectoplasm.

He got into a Conversation with the Store Owner and accepted her Request to pick up an Ore Delivery from Shor's Stone. Her apprentice Ingun butted into the Conversation and Requested Ostium to gather Materials for Her. He accepted but told Her not to expect them soon since he was Busy with other Requests. Ostium asked the Shopkeeper if she knew where He could find A Deadra Heart. She directed him towards Arcadia in Whiterun. Ostium thanked her and made his way to the Carriage to Quickly Travel to Whiterun.

The Carriage arrived at the Whiterun Stables early in the Morning. Meeko and Ostium got off the Carriage and started walking towards Whiterun. Ostium spotted a Khajiit Caravan near the Stables and approached them. He struck up a Conversation with them and showed them Ma'drans Ring. Ri'saad eyes lot up and asked Ostium how he knew Ma'dran. Ostium explained his encounters and spent some time talking with Ri'saad about Elsweyr. After a Hour Ostium got up to enter Whiterun, and asked the Khajiit to look over Meeko. Ri'saad agreed and Ostium went on to visit Arcadia. Today was Ostiums Lucky Day, Arcadia had a Deadra Heart and Troll Fat. He bought some extra Ingredients. Arcadia offered to show him a few Recipes which Ostium gladly accepted. 2 Hours off Training later Ostium Payed Arcadia for the Training and went back to the Khajiit to pick up Meeko. Ostium sold some of the Potions he made with Arcadia to Ri'saad and asks him about the third Caravan that Ma'dran mentioned. "Oh you're talking about Ahkari, her Route is between Riften and Dawnstar. You might meet her on youre way back to Riften". "I will keep an Eye out for her, Thanks". He bid them farewell and took the Carriage with Meeko back to Riften.

Battle against the Curse

The Carriage arrived at the Riften Stable close to Dusk and Ostium felt his Hunger for Blood grow. Not wanting to waste the Night Ostium and Meeko made their Way back to the Stronghold and delivered the Ingredients. Atub summoned Malacath who chastised Yamarz for letting Giants trample over his Shrine and gave him a Chance to lift the Curse. He had to kill the Giants Leader. Yamarz forced Ostium to come with him. Ostium who wanted to help Atub agreed. He left Meeko with Atub and followed Yamarz to Fallowstone Cave.

They battled through the Cave and came to the Giants Leader Lair. Yamarz tried to slip out of Danger by Having Ostium kill the Giant. Ostium refused since Malakath told Yamarz to do it. "This is youre Mission, you shouldnt try to trick Malacath". Yamarz growled at him but agreed to do it Himself. He charged the Giant but was quickly killed.

Ostium decided to finish the Mission to maybe lift the Curse. He Poisoned Multiple Arrows. One with an Imune system weakening Poison, One with Paralysis and Three with a Poison that eats away the Targets Flesh. Ostium Sneaked closer to the Giant and shot the Weakness Arrow directly into its Chest. It let out a small grunt and noticed Ostium. Another Arrow hit the Giants Arm and drops him to the Ground with its Limbs Convulsing. Ostium Rushed closer shooting his last Three Poison Arrows hiting the Neck, Shoulder and left Leg. The Arrow lodged in its Neck was the end of the Giant due to it eating away at the Brain Stem causing the Giant to stop Breathing. Ostium searched arround the Camp and Found an Elven Bow in a Chest. Malcath Voice appeared in his Head telling him to bring the Warhammer of the Giant back to the Stronghold. Ostium picked up the Hammer and traveled back to Atub.

She told him to place to Hammer on the Shrine. Malacath talked to them again and Choose a new Chief. Malacath transformed the Hammer and gave it to Ostium. Ostium left the Hammer with the Orcs and went back to Riften. He encountered Akahris Caravan infront of Riften and strikes up a Conversation with them. He showed them Ma'Drans Ring and an Armored Khajiit comes up to him asking for a Favor. Ostium hears him out and agrees to recover Kharjos Necklace from Embershard Mine. He excuses himself and rents a Room in the Inn. He laid down and fell Asleep exhausted.

An Elven bow is definitely better than ImperialXP I like his interactions with the Orcs and the Khajiit.

Yeah i let out a little cheer when i Saw that, Best Bow i have now :D 

I usually never do anything with the Orcs or Khajiit but im really warming up to the Khajiit, i might even play one :D
