Have you ever come across an NPC in your travels that you’ve found incredibly irritating, annoying, or otherwise gotten on your nerves? How about one that always makes you want to end their miserable life, but for one reason or another, is needed later on? If so, then share those experiences here! Tell us their name, and what in particular you’ve found so annoying about them.
To spice it up a bit, I also thought I’d make a quick Poll with some short-list options, that after a bit of Internet searches, seem to be contenders for top spot. Feel free to vote there, but don’t forget to comment here as well!
So then, who do you consider to be the most annoying NPC in the Classics?

"If it isn't the newest member of the family. Let's get one thing straight -- the Tenets prevent me from killing you. But I don't have to like you. I'll sell you equipment, but only because Ocheeva is making me. This family doesn't need any... outsiders." "You again? I thought I'd made it clear I'm not looking for a friend. If you're here to buy or sell something, get on with it already!" If you ask him about rumors, he may respond by saying: "I have it on good authority that the newest addition to the Brotherhood is an annoying whelp unworthy of licking my boots. How's that for gossip?"

Blacklight hit the nail on the head! I swear, that cat has to be the most annoying NPC in the game, short of the Fan himself...
And besides, I needed a bit of variety from M'raaj. Couldn't have all Wood Elves now, right?

You know who's the worst...the first assassin from the Dark Brotherhood in Morrowind, that fucking thing was just urgh. I suppose that's mostly gameplay though, still nothing beats an overpowered asshole attacking you if you ever try and sleep.
But yeah, Annoying Fan is on my list for sure, I always kind of liked M'raaj-Dar and I can't for the life of me remember that other bloke. Oh and Fargoth is, eh kind of annoying but not really, like a 6/10 I suppose.

I always felt so bad during the Purification of the Sanctuary.
If you talked to M'raaj-Dar before killing him, he would say something like "I realise I've treated you horribly. We should be friends. It's time for a clean start! So, friend. Anything you'd like to buy or sell?'
Then you had to brutally murder him.

To be honest, I've never understood why people dislike Fargoth so much. I suppose it has something to do with his annoying voice being the first thing many people hear off the boat? I agree with the Assassin, though. First time he attacked, I had to resort to using God Mode just to kill him. Then more kept showing up...

First time I met him I couldn't wait for a chance to kill him, but then when I finally got to, I also couldn't help but feel a bit for him.

Classics Poll, thus no Nazeem :)

One NPC that always seems to annoy me is Runs-In-Circles. God, every time I hear her incessant cry, I just want to forcibly end her misery: “Ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni”...Yeah, that.
As for Morrowind, much as I despise Gaenor, I have to give the top spot to mister “Ahh, yes” himself: Socucius Ergalla. Everytime I walk into his office to get my papers, it’s like nails on a chalk board with him.
