Name: Tanan-Ze
Alias: Walks-Alone
Sex: Male
Race: Argonian, originally of the Kota-Vimleel
Birthsign: The Tower.
Age: 63
"It is not too often that one encounters a scholar incapable of writing in the common tongue, so when I met Walks-Alone in that dimly lit corner club at the first lines of the Velothi Mountains, I was a bit surprised. But something about his gaze told me that he didn't need to express himself in any language to pursue his ambitions.
While he was already of a ripe age when we met, his orange and purple scales had long lost their shine and his horns had grown dull, his eyes were still as keen as those of a young lad, a hawk even. Constantly observing everything around them. A little more unsettling was his habit of constantly tasting the air with that strange black tongue of his, like a serpent tracking a skeever through the undergrowth of the Rift. I can't imagine the trouble he'll run into once he makes it to Skyrim.
Says he is on his way to Orsinium to rebuild some kind of library, I don't get it, since when do orcs read books? What would you even call an orc who knows the lore of this world? A Lorc? Nah, that sounds preposterous.
Anyway, the strange lizard and I talked into the depths of the night, discussing animal biology, herbology, and the odd alchemical finding. He was clearly learned and his keen eyes and tongue had helped him pick up a lot from his surroundings over the years. Hell, he claimed he could track animals by signs most hunters would neglect, after just a day of observation. Something told me he could and had already hunted his fair share of intelligent prey as well.
He told me he was born a Kota-Vimleel, whatever that meant, but that he was banished for being born under the sign of the tower, instead of that of the shadow. Apparently his old tribe was adamant on that, for reasons I'm not sure I understand. He told me tales of dark nights and solitary hunts and admitted having been accepted into a tribe of Tum-Taleel.
He told me the story of how he came to be accepted into their ranks after the chief's daughter fell in love with him. He initially said the love was one sided, but from what he spouted out as the Sujamma started to get to him, I believe he was actually quite enthralled by the girl himself. After another few bottles of Sujamma tall tales of a happy life in a Xanmeer near the sea came rolling off of his black tongue. And then, out of seemingly nowhere, this giant of a lizard, starts crying as a newborn babe. Unbelievable, he refuses to explain or rather if he tried I couldn't hear him through the sobbing. Bloody Milkdrinker.
The next morning however, he was gone. What an odd lizard..." -A traveling Scholar

I'm loving this character a lot. Walks-Alone is such a distinct name, and it says so much about the character even without the profile. Eager to see more of this! And who is this traveling scholar, I wonder? Will we have a name to go with those words someday?

Maybe, I have actually been thinking of creating a different scholarly character before the event. I just never really got to properly create/build him, so maybe a character for a future profile, or in case I'm drunk perhaps even a build (I suggest you people smack me if I start proposing that one though).

Sorry for the delay Teineeva, stressful weekend followed by four nights work. Will send PM later today. I am looking forward to getting to know Walks-Alone

I really like the sound of this guy. What a complex lizard.

Oh snap. I'm sure our Librarian, Urzus, would have some choice words for your narrator. Whom I actually also might enjoy reading a profile about. He's funny!
