Oh man this was fantastically done, Boromm and Phil! I don't know if either of you have read Dracula, but getting this interview from Walks' perspective really reminded me of that novel. Alazir was so cool, but also as refined as he was predatory. It left me wishing he'd been the leader of Volkihar in the DLC instead of Hakon.

You have made my day by reading and replying to this, Fawn. Dracula is one of those books that I tend to read once every few years, normally as autumn gives way to winter. It was definitely something I ripped off heavily here Not sure about Borom, would love to hear his thoughts on Alazir's influences.
I think my only mistake in this after rereading it is that I was so focussed on setting a mood that I may have missed a few crucial things I could have gotten Alazir to talk about.

There's always a chance for a second interview, perhaps? I left you a comment on your Interviews hub!
Strangely enough, I couldn't quite get through Dracula. I made it about halfway, but I found myself wishing it hadn't been written in the format that it was. I wanted some 3rd person Classic-Gothic vampire goodness. I can happily say that I loved this a whole lot more! It kept my attention very well.

That's the moment when you put down Bram Stoker and pick up Anne Rice, right?
"Evil is a point of view. God kills indiscriminately and so shall we. For no creatures under God are as we are, none so like him as ourselves."

Oh that's on my To-Read list! I'm in more of a druid phase than a vampire phase right now, but that is definitely on my list. I've heard good things about it.
Very cool quote.

This is such an incredible piece of work, I hate that it's taken me so long to find it! The writing is incredible, the imagery is effective, and Alazir may be one of the most well-made Lawful Evil characters I've ever seen. (Besides, it's always nice to see Argonian Storytellers get some love :P)

It is isn't it? And Alazir is probably my favourite work from Borom, and that's saying something! He's also got a profile on the guy if you're interested. I'm afraid I can't get you the link just now, but I'll be able to find it for you tomorrow if you don't feel like facing the search system yourself :)

Interviewing Alazir was such good fun, and working with Borom is always a pleasure :) Thank you for the comment, Lost. I really should restore the others.

I'm shocked I didn't link to it when restoring it. For shame.

Well here it is! I'm afraid the images are still missing, but all the content is still there, and that's what's important.
