So i read alot of Books in-game.
I've spent countless rainy days inside a Shack on the side of a Road or a Dungeon i just cleared reading Books and waiting for the Night to pass or the Storm to subside.
Doing this i found a Few Books that stood out to me.
Those Books were
Three Thieves: For its interesting Story, Techniques for Thieves and the great Ending.
Amongst the Draugr: A fascinating look into the Routine of Draugrs and their Purpose in Unlife.
The Doors of Oblivion: An interesting and captivating Journey across multiple Oblivion Planes.
The Cabin in the Woods. A good short Story for reading besides a Campfire.
Purloined Shadows. Stealing from a Deadric Prince? Yes Please! Great Build up to the confrontation and a great Ending.
What are youre favorite Books?

Oh boy, some of my favourite books go back to the older games!
The Book of Holidays from Daggerfall | Arcana Restored - Wapna Neustra | A Dance in Fire - Waughin Jarth |A Travlers Guide To New Sheoth And The Shivering Isles - Brenith Aralyn |
These are but a few!
I am quite content to gather up Lore Books and the like and spend some 'off-time' from questing to read them all!

Paws said: See, now we're sucking the right tit! You've some good picks there, I definitely agree with Purloined Shadows and Doors of Oblivion. In addition, i know i don't feel complete until I have at least one shelf holding all volumes from the Song of Pelinal. The Remenada and Adabal-a normally end up on the same shelf. Hell, who am i kidding. All the books end up on my shelves :D No matter the character, if I'm not collecting books i just feel like I'm doing wrong :D
Exactly my Bookshelfs are always full :D its just so hard to see books somewhere and not take them :D

I second Cabin in the Woods and The Doors of Oblivion - this one was an inspiration for a roleplay profile/build/story I wrote not too long ago.
Also, Palla, both volumes. I loved them in Oblivion and was happy to see them back in Skyrim.
I think my favorite things to read, though, and keep on bookshelves are letters and journals I pick up from people, either people I’ve helped or failed to help, or happened upon in the wild, or bad guys I’ve looted. I mean lore is fine and all, but all those personal stories are just the best. Oh! I also should mention that I will always collect Alduin is Real and He Ent Akatosh. Always.

I sometimes keep journals but i never keep notes on the Shelfs. I usually scatter them across tables. I dont like how they look between actual Books ^^

Feyfolken. That shit be real.
Mythic Dawn Commentaries
Song of Pelinal
Song of the Return
Night falls on Sentinel.
A dream of Sovngarde
But dammit, even when I play a barbarian I collect all books. Gotta have them all. Too many good books to list.
