The Defender Skyrim Build (Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Variant)
Well protected, defenders stride the battlefield with no fear. They can even nullify certain attacks entirely.
Defenders focus on protecting themselves and attack when surrounded. They can sacrifice their Health to deal damage, but their Aura (Histskin) ability can make them a permanent field unit. True to their name, they have excellent Health and Defense making them difficult to injure.
**You will need the Atronach perk in the Alteration skill tree, I used the Telekinesis glitch to Max level it and then applied the perks necessary. At the bottom is the guide on how to do it, if you don't already know.**

Claymore+Sweep
Defense and Save the Queen
Defenders not only enjoy Broadswords, but Knightswords as well. Save the Queen, a Sword of legend, sings through the air as your Shield turns all blows. The true strength of the Defender shines forth in the onslaught.
Auriel's Shield+ Save the Queen+Shield Charge
Perk Spread
Heavy Armor: 5/5 Juggernaut, Fists of Steel, Well Fitted, Cushioned, Tower of Strength, Conditioning
One Handed: 5/5 Armsman, 3/3 Bladesman, Fighting Stance
Two Handed: 5/5 Barbarian, 3/3 Deep Wounds, Champion's Stance
Alteration: Novice-Expert, 3/3 Magical Resistance, Atronach
Restoration: Novice-Expert, Dual Casting, Regeneration, 1/2 Recovery, Respite, Avoid Death
Smithing: Steel, Elven, Advanced, Glass, Arcane

Block: 5/5 Shield Wall, Deflect Arrows, Quick Reflexes, Power Charge, Elemental Protection, Deadly Bash, Block Runner, Disarming Bash, Shield Charge
Roleplay and Combat: Defenders are not holy knights, paladins, or upholders of the peace. But neither are they inherently evil. They don't kill for sport, but they will kill if a fight is initiated and won't back down from a challenge. They never surrender, and never, NEVER retreat.
Your Claymore should be your weapon of first resort, used against small groups of strong foes, or Dragons. Save the Queen is for bigger fights, large amounts of enemies, or desperate moments where you think you might lose (not that those ever really happen).
**Telekinesis Glitch for instant max level Alteration**
The goal of this glitch is to find one random object in the game, and cast the telekinesis spell on it to level up Alteration quickly. I've discovered a way to do it in under 10 seconds, provided you have 5/5 in the Enchanter perk and Insightful Enchanter. This works 100% of the time, and is guaranteed to bring Alteration up from as low as level 15 to 100 in no time flat. Making it legendary and performing the glitch again will allow you to practically gain infinite perk points. Now, you can acquire the Atronach perk without having to use Alteration School of magic, besides the one spell required. Here is a step by step process on how to perform this glitch.
1. Start in Whiterun, preferably.
2. Using Grand or Black Soul gems, Enchant a Robe/Armor, Necklace, Ring, and Hood/Circlet/Helmet with Fortify Alteration.
3. Find any random object in the game (**make sure it is an unimportant item, as it will be lost in the process**)
4. Equip the armor set with the Fortify Alteration enchantments and cast the Telekinesis spell on the object (I used a bucket). Do not release the button.
5. Open the menu while still casting the spell, and open the map. From here, fast travel to another major city, any in the game.
With the Atronach Perk, and the Atronach Stone, we look at 80% spell absorption overall, with 80% Resistance to all Magic and an over 90% Resistance to Frost and Shock. In combination with Heavy Armor, the Character hits the Armor cap and reaches 80% Physical Damage Resistance as well. The character is massively overpowering, as Defenders are meant to be. They soak up Damage, stay alive in the most unforgiving conditions, and can even come back from death.
So how is this for my first Build? Scale 1-10 in the comments below if you would. Obviously, I don't own the rights to the Final Fantasy franchise or anything, so don't Sue me.

Ok, itś pretty good, but you need to make this more...Skyrimized, don't just plonk this class from FF into Skyrim, mold it so it fits into the world of Skyrim. Also, you need to add Character Build to the title.

Hey! this isn't bad. Its pretty cool. I'm kind of familiar with FFT. A tank build that hits the armor cap and has high magic resistance as well as the ability to absorb magic attacks!? this is a quality that every build should strive for to prevent getting slaughtered like rabbits. This build though needs to have though pictures as well as a questline to fulfill the characters potential otherwise others may shun you and some others may become confused. Not all CB's need a backstory. You have a pretty good build that starts off more as a description of class this character would be classified as. My question is, how would this character actually fair in the world of Skyrim combat and quest wise? what could be some options this character can take? I'll be keeping an eye on this. Best of luck.

Right, I'll fix the title right away, but do you have any advice on how to possibly "Skyrimize" this Build? I was thinking of potentially searching further into the lore of the Elder Scrolls and seeing how I could tie it in with maybe an order of Knights guarding a high ranking official/noble in Black Marsh, maybe he was a servant or guardian of said person and accused of murder when the Dark Brotherhood or Morag Tong assassinated them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the advice. I appreciate the positive criticism. I'll see that I modify this character's attributes a bit and add Questlines to complete. Thank you again.
