Thanks, Lee! This build was a hoot to play.
No Stone Unturned is insane. I have never seen so many jewels in my life... money literally becomes a non-issue... and the marriage of Speech and Pickpocket is so wonderful that it's hard for me to play builds that don't use it xD
I went with Robes of Conjuration because all of the Alteration spells I was using took advantage of the Infinite Concentration Casting glitch in which spells that don't have a definite end to them can be cast indefinitely. So spells like Flames or Healing or Detect Life/Death or (more importantly) Telekinesis which you cast till the magicka simply runs out, can go on forever. Even when your magicka bar runs to what looks like 0 the spell can keep going, so if you had the patience, you could pick up an object and levitate it for as long as you had the strength in your pointer finger to keep holding that button down.
The downside to this is that you can throw no levels into Magicka. This means you're rolling with just 100 points Magicka, so when you cast a spell that doesn't fall into the concentration spell category (I'm looking at you, Flame/Frost Atronachs), your magicka takes quite a hit. Since none of the Conjuration spells fall into the 'concentration' spells category, I opted to roll with robes of Conjuration take the sting out of any atronachs I might need to throw at someone if things got desperate.
I don't have any of the DLC's (a fact which has earned me the title of "scrub" from many people I would otherwise respect xD), so my knowledge of those quests is pretty slim. But I would imagine that any DLC quest where there is is stuff to steal, jewels to be had, or septims to be made would be of interest to the Dark Purveyor ;D
