Before I start I must warn you that this build focuses heavaly on the Roleplay. I love to roleplay all things skyrim, so just a little heads up. If you do not like it I am truly sorry, but I prefer to make my builds more of a roleplay. Enjoy!

    Théoden’s Log

Day 1: We set sail at 8 this morning with high hopes of finding this Land of Snow. The men have no idea what our heading is; they are becoming restless. I can not blame them, stuck on a ship with no idea of when we will return or when we will get off. All we can do is pray and hope for the best, that and also try not to get sea sick.

Day 5: I have overheard our captian talking to the commanding officer on board, he had said that we are not alone in our expadition. More ships from Cyrodiil are said to be not a day behind us. But this land that we sail to, I have a sick feeling in my gut that we will not be overly welcome.

Day 10: The crew awoke to the sight of hundreds of ships sailing on the horizon, flying the colors of our lord and king. This vast expanse of vessels, are they really necessary for a simple scouting trip to this Land of Snow? Unless this is no expadition, but a campaign. The men are starting to worry, will we ever see our loved ones again? Will I be able to return home to my lovely Lorethia, or my sweet baby Kara? Only time and fate can tell the outcome of our journey.

Day 15: Even more ships have arrived, our small fleet of a dozen ships has turned into a full force armada. Our captain has informed us that this is not the sailing trip we singed up for, but a full scale invasion. We are to take the city of Solitude in the name of our king. Surely this land of Skyrim, for that is what we are told it is called, will not fight back against our forces. The cost would be great for them to do otherwise. Will there be bloodshed over this matter, or will there be peace? Will we be able to live among one another as brothers and sisters of the crown? Or will we fight for this land?

Day 20: My feelings are becoming more powerful then they were before; we will have to fight for our stay in this land of ice and snow.

Day 25We have arrived, Skyrim is only a days ride away. We are to head for the shore when the sun has just fallen. Will all this force be necessary? It is time to say my prayers, I dare say this may well be the last peaceful time I have to do so. I will see Lorethia again, I know I will, I must. I can not let Kara grown up not knowing who her father is. Only the tides can tell if they will carry me back home to her.

Day 50: The invasion did not go as planned. They were waiting for us, thousands of men and woman lined the shore line. We could see the glow of the torches they held in their outstretched hands. These were the Nords, the people of Skyrim. When we finally managed to break through there defenses, the dead were far to many to count. The bodies littered the shore, both ours and theirs. Theses where the people of Skyrim, this was there home. What are we doing here, we cannot take this from them; it is not ours to take. I will not stand for this; I cannot obey the orders of a blind man who wishes to take the only thing these people have. I will have to wait and see if I still have the same state of mind.

Day 70: We have taken the capital of Solitude. The dead litter the streets, this is not right, it is against all ways of humanity. I have made my choice; I will not support this Empire who wishes to steal the very land that these people live on. Nor will I stand idly by as this band of thieves take it from them. The Empire is no longer my family, it is now my sworn enemy. And I will stop at nothing until it is defeated and driven from this land. Then I can retrieve my wife and daughter, we can start anew in this land. I am no longer a servant of the crown, I am an exiled conquistador. At dawns first light, I march for Windhelm.

     Gameplay

    Roleplay:

Your name is Théoden, a traitor to the crown. The Empire will stop at nothing until you are found and hung for your acts of treason. You are now a loyal and faithful ally to the Rebellion, you act on the behalf of High King Ulfric, but he is not your master nor are you his puppet. You are a free man, but you choose to fight for the people who cannot fight for themselves. You are there voice and there shield. You have sworn to protect the people of Skyrim from the ever oppressive Empire. You will not sleep, you will not rest, and you will not love until this menace is driven from these lands. You are a Storm Cloak. You live amongst these people, and you will sure as hell fight for them. This is now your home, your love for the Nords has overcome the love you once felt for the green fields of Cyrodiil. These people are now your family. You have joined Ulfric in an attempt to rid this land of the oppressive rule of the Empire. You will do everything in your power to stop this invasion. You will raid their camps, burn their supply ships, and slaughter who ever stands in your way. Never again will the Empire set foot on Nord soil. You can as a soldier, you left a traitor. You are the Exiled.

    Combat:

Théoden is a trained warrior. The Empire did not expect their trained Legionaries to be fighting against them. You have passed on your knowledge to the warriors of the Rebellion, so that they may fight against the Empire with power behind their swings, and devastation behind their blows. You started off by teaching them how to parry their enemy’s strikes, using shields and swords. Then you moved on to showing them how to use their shields as weapons, bashing their foes with the brass middle piece of the shield. When they were ready, you moved on to practicing with a wooden sword and shield. You showed them how a true warrior should fight, starting off by measuring up their opponent, then waiting for the time to come, letting them make the first move. Once they have struck out at you, you move into them, getting too close for them to use their sword to slash at you. Then proceed by striking them with the middle piece, send the opposition flying through the air. Following up with dash to the side to confuse them of where you are, you strike out at their exposed back. This will surely kill them instantly, if not, follow that strike with a slice at the back of the neck or a stab through their heart. You were trained to deal with your opponent quickly and efficiently, and you will make sure that your soldiers are trained the same way. You have taught them all they need to know, now it is time to take the fight to the Empire, it is time to show them what you will do, it is time to show that you will not stand for this, it is time to end this war, for Skyrim and for the Nord peoples.

    Training:

    Race:

Imperial can be the only race to choose. Since any other race would completely mess up the background. This is the only part of this build that must stay the same.

    Shouts:

1.) The rage you have for the Empire drives you into a battle fury when you are in combat, allowing you to attack with twice the speed of a normal warrior. Use the Elemental Fury Shout.

2.) The very sight off a trained Legionary sends the opposition running like dogs with their tails between their legs. They seem to have been disarmed by your intimidating look. Use the Disarm Shout

    Stones:

1.)    As a young lad, your father took you to see a giant stone in the middle of a field full of tall grass surrounded by the thick guardian trees, said to watch over the weary travelers who set under there protective limbs. You still remember the smell of spring in the air, and the cool breeze it brought with it. Ever since that day you have been an outstanding warrior, your swings where stronger, and your arrows flew truer. You believe that the divines blessed you that day; though your father thinks that you got it from him. Use the Warrior stone.

1.)    When you were a youthful man, you liked to explore a lot. One day you came upon a cave, this cave was no ordinary cave. This cave had a lake dwelling inside of it, and at the middle of this lake was an island no bigger than your house. At the middle of this island was a giant stone. Carved into this stone was the image of a woman, who appeared to be a lover, it was written on her face. When you returned back to the town, you had told you sister to follow you to see the cave and the lake. But when you arrived there was no lake, just an empty cave. Use the Lover Stone.

    Physical Assessment:

Ever since you were a young man, you have always been bigger than the other boys. You were not fat, you where muscular. You were never one of the magical sorts. You tended to steer away from those who were, so naturally you had no involvement with the divines. You have always been very light on your feet for someone so big. Your natural agility makes you a great warrior. Put 2 in health, 0 in Magicka, and 1 in Stamina.

    Knowledge:

    Once you were old enough to swing a sword, you father started to teach you how to use one. You have always been gifted in this art of one handed combat. You also learned a thing or two from your mother;

she showed to you the properties of herbs and roots, teaching you how to imbue them into a potion strong enough to fit out diseases and heal the wounds you would receive in battle.  When you were old enough to join the military, you learned the rest of your knowledge from the instructors. They taught you how to fight, how to block, how to go days without food, how to wear 50 pounds of armor for weeks on end, they taught you everything you know, they even taught you how to use a bow. You would be a shallow of a man without them. The military and your family is the only thing you have ever known, and now you must fight against them. Put your perks into One Handed, Alchemy, Heavy Armor, Block, and Archery.

    The Warriors Armor:

When you joined the Imperial Legion, you were given the standard equipment. But as you progressed in the rank, you were rewarded with better armor. You soon found yourself being able to choose what you would wear, whether it is an iron helmet or an Orcish sword. But now as a deserter you are not privileged with that. You wear what you came to Skyrim in, an Imperial Officers Helmet, a steel plated chest piece, Imperial legionary boots, steel plated gloves, and an Imperial Shield.

    The Warriors Weapons:

A Dwarven sword which your father gave to you before you left and crossbow which was given to you as a gift by your little sister is all you carry. Your father found the sword when he was out one day exploring an old Dwelmer ruin, the blade had a curse over it, it was imbued with the property to burn the one it hits.

    Quests:

1.)    The Storm Cloak Quest Line

    -  You are a traitor to the crown, and a lover of the Nords. You will join them and take up arms to fight for their freedom; you will fight with your steel and pay with your blood. You will show the Empire there mistake in taking this land from the free people who have the right to govern it.

    2.)    The Companions

    -  Théoden is a trained warrior and skilled match for even the best. He will want to keep his skills sharp; the constant practice that the Companion Guild has to offer will do him good. Plus, he has heard tell of the myth that the Companions are also Werewolves. Being a Werewolf will certainly have its advantages.

    3.)    The Main Quest Line

    -  This could certainly through in a twist to this story if Théoden discovered his true potential. If he found out that he was Dragonborn, who knows what kind of destruction he could wield to put an end to this war, and to ensure the peace that will follow. He would be Tamriel’s Champion.

    Potions:

    1.)     Potion of Cure Diseases

    -  Your mother taught you this one when you were sick with a fever. She told you about how you had to mix in Charred Skeever Hide, Hawk Feathers, Mudcrab Chitin, and vampire dust. When you took one sip of this, is healed you right up.

    2.)     Potion of Restore Health

    -  This one you remember very well. You learned out to make this potion by watching your mother make it for you sister when she fell over the root of the oak tree that stood in your yard. She had hit her head on a rock and had lost a lot of blood. You remember the feeling that you thought that she was going to die. You remember you mother carefully mixing the Blisterwart that grew in her garden out behind the house with the wheat that came from father’s fields. This potion took the night to take effect, but by morning your sister was no longer pale and flaccid, but bright and joyful.

    3.)     Potion of Restore Stamina

    -  You actually made this one up. One day when you were playing with your friends in the Fields behind the house, you were running so very much. You remember being very tired and falling over in the fields. You remembered that when you ate the Pine Thrush’s egg in the morning, you would feel so much more energetic and not so sleepy. And you remember how the Silverside Perch that lived in the stream that flows right in front of the old oak tree always had so much energy. There must be something different about those fish. So when you got home exhausted after playing in the fields, you caught yourself a Silverside Perch, and went into the yard and grabbed one of the Pine Thrush’s eggs from the coop. You went back inside and mixed it all up and drank the potion, you instantly felt better and not exhausted at all. The days when you were young and joyful, those days are long gone now. Where does the time go, where has the time of your past flown off to? You shall never know.

    Final Thoughts:

Thank you all so much for look at my build. I would love some comments. I have been working on this build for almost 2 weeks now. I have been playing on multiple saves, that is way I have been able to put out so many builds in a short amount of time. If you enjoyed my build please tell me in the comments and don't forget to leave a like.

Hmm, you've got too big of a focus on the roleplay. I'd also like to point out that the Imperial Closed Helm is a Cornthian style helmet, which isn't unique to the Spartans. (Sorry, history nut hereĀ )

Try bringing out the gameplay more, the roleplay dominates the build too much.

Aight will do. But just so you know for the future, I am a role play fanatic. So if my builds focus alot on roleplay then you know why :P. But I will try to focus more on the gameplay.

Have to agree with the last two comments. Your focus on role play is leaving huge question marks on gameplay. What style of combat does he use? Yes, sword and shield. But is he predominantly offensive or defensive? What goes first? sword or shield? Also why potion of cure disease if you will be a werewolf. Are we meant to see lycantropy as a blessing or curse? Oh yes, and for someone so focus on roleplaying you kinda fail with your numbers. Twelve ships is already an armada, 20 are really a lot. Also thousands died? You mean that all Tamriel died then. I really like roleplaying, but that cannot blur the actual gameplay. Or it will be just a story.

This should have just been called the conquistador...

I don't oftenly do it, but I'm giving this a like purely because of the presentation. I don't like the massive focus on roleplay; A bit's fine, but this went a bit overboard.

If you're gonna do any future builds this looks like a really nice style; And I love that some of the more well-known Blog members have an almost 'signature' style when it comes to character building.

I actually like the focus on roleplaying. My only problem is that you said that you set sail for Skyrim... from Cyrodiil. What? You made Skyrim seem like some sort of foreign island up north. It has been part of the Empire since its inception, and it literally borders Cyrodiil.

For a build that is so roleplay focused, it completly destroys the lore already set forth by the game. The Empire has been in control of Solitude since the Second Era, and considering Skyrim and Cyrodiil border each other, I find it highly unlikley that an armada would go on a 2 month journey by sea when they could go by lane through friendly areas (Whiterun, Falkreath, etc.). Additonally, the empire never "invaded" Skyrim, they have always occupied it, and many The rebellion is internal. The gameplay itself is also rather unremarkable.

Also, the Empire is run, by, well, an Emperor. I get the whole Consquitidor thing, but it's alright.
