I have never tried this, but I am guessing it works on "summoned" undead such as boneman, mistman, and wrathman which is weird to me. I will try it out.

I am confused. I tried it on undead and it doesn't work. Says it only works on Daedra. Plus, as the UESP says, most Daedra found and summoned are too high of a level anyway lol. By the time you get the spell anyway (75) you will be having armies to do all the work.

Hi Henson,
Great Job on the build... whilst I love it's concept in an "open to interpret it your way", i kind of feel that it is a tad incomplete..
Here's what I have in my mind for a necromancer:
Magic Type: Dark Magic / Shadow
Supplement Damage: Poison
Ability: Summons and Zombies
Resource: Magicka
Resource Support: Blood Magic
Stone: Ritual
A optional to this can be bound weapons, since they do belong to dark magic, which effectively puts the Necromancer within melee range of this target. Another option would be the usage of unique staves found in game, to provide multiple or single damage support.
This is how I have viewed a necromancer in my mind. In fact, I will be making a build like this as soon as I am making my current pure build (which is a dark one btw)...
Just my 2 cents worth.

To me, if your going to make a build named Necromancer, it needs to be really deep and well thought out and this takes the cake.
I really like your army of darkness choices, an inventive way to look at having thralls and I might do a pick 'n' mix.
I like that you clearly honed the skills into what is clearly Necrotic-like or not rather than just trying to cover all bases of effectiveness, if played right this build is amazing but if played lazily, the player will fall apart. Room for error but not for facerolls. Very well done Henson! +1
