It always blows my mind when someone comments on this build! I totally forgot I ever made it (it was my first) but I'm so pleased when people rediscover and delight in it :)

Aye. I agree completely. as I've said before, it was my first pass at Building, a trial run, if you will. I don't list it on my page, but people find it occasionally.

Perhaps I shall make my return one day. My last play through was a blind old Necromancer in pursuit of immortality...

Aged and nearing the end of his life, he turns to Vampirism to stave off death long enough to find a more... permanent... solution. Though he dabbles idly in alchemy trying to created an elixir of life, he is a believer in power, and thus Magicka can only be his true road to salvation. He is obsessed with soul stones, his study littered with their fragments. They say he possess Azura's star, that he as actually traveled into death, into the soul cairn itself and stolen great power from the masters. They say that he has read every book ever written on  dark magics, from Shaldor's lost writings to lost Falmer texts to the Ogum Infinitum itself... Though he has not been seen in many long years... Some say he succeeded in his quest, and lives still, a powerful lich in some forgotten ruin. Others say he died, like the mortal he was born, consumed by the powerful magics he sought to control. Others still say he, like the Dwemer, simply vanished...

Indeed, they say many things of Mor'zul the Blind.

But I thought we'd had enough Necromancers for a while. The role-playing drew me, but it was of little mechanical interest. Sorry for the rant, it just happened.
