The Vampire side doesn't have very much to offer in terms of equipment other than their armor sets - and given the Stalker doesn't use any magic skills it isn't too good a decision. You could always just play on the Vampire side using vanilla gear (see the equipment section)

One day I'm going to have to look through all my saves so I can find every build I have played off this site, because I fear I have forgotten to like a number of really fun builds...Also had a bit of a funny moment with this one,I was do the Thalmor Embassy quest, and I was using elemental fury against a wizard. He died near instantly, and for some reason flipped backwards as he died.I have never seen that one before.I'm having a fun time with this build, which is odd, because I usually find sneak characters kinda dull.

Also, its quicker to get to Dragon stuff on the heavy armor side rather than the light armor one. You get and extra perk point, I believe. Also, heavy armors cost more, if I remember correctley, so theres that.
P.S-By that last bit I meant you could sell them for big money

Best thing for the Stalker specifically. The Black Bow of Fate is a) much more difficult to get b) only has a 50% chance of dealing damage c) absorbs magicka, which isn't needed at all d) only has 22 charges e) deals less base damage per shot on a character based around sneak attacks

The 4 gems is the hard part, you still need to go do another quite long dungeon to get them, besides you're leveling pickpocket anyway and killing animals doesn't take very long (plus it fits in with RP a little more than finding magic bows in dwarven ruins).
Health and Stamina absorb are pretty useless for a sneak archer and only have a 50% chance of working anyway. Fortify stamina means you can stay zoomed in for longer and a range of other things.
One of the points of the character is that you didn't have to fuck around with magic things like enchanting and spells, and I'd have to say having to recharge every 22 shots (with only 50% chance of doing 25 more damage) isn't really worth it.
Of course I couldn't give a toss if you wanted to use the Black Bow of Fate, just don't go spewing your opinion all over my thread
