Cyrodiil has so much diversity simply because the Imperials can tolerate it and it's in the middle of Tamriel.

Well you have a point there. But the damn elves know magic, you know, the whooshing one...

But seriously, could can change the tide of war with magic beating raw power. They couldn't take on dragons, how can they beat a dozen mages with 200 foot soldiers?

    Because Bretons.

Bretons are the ultimage Elf killers, they have a magic resistance while being proficient at magic themselves wich is very good because Altmer have a weakness to getting hit my magic. Besides, the Imperials also have good mages, light infantry, archers and cavalry to take down mages quickly.

Not to mention the heavy legions.

I wouldn't say the Thalmor have the Empire by the neck, but I'm sure they'd like to give off that impression. The Dominion is severely weakened and probably won't replenish those forces for the very reason Alduin mentioned. Female elves have very few births in their life time, unlike human based races, and thus prevents them from replenishing troops as fast as humans.

The Dominions position should now be defensive, and it's hard to make friends when they have just angered their neighbors.

Yeah and like USA did with Japan, they accepted people from the Summerset isles after their invasion with a giant Metal golem(Hiroshima with Tha Bomb) so they could keep a peace with fear. Has Japan invaded or attacked USA back?... .... No right? But what if it did happen? And if they got allies within China and Vietnam? Then it would happen what did in Skyrim

They can't because they would be breaking a shitload of treaties and declaring war on the entire western world, not just the USA.

Tiber Septim did use some drastic measures yes, but it did end the war quicker. Who knows wich method cost more lives.

And besides, not even Dunmer like the Imperials, but are not keen to what stormcloaks feel around them, the might join the Thalmor if the have a chance and surround the empire(Argonians are another thing to fear in their own way)

The Dunmer? They have no home, if they'd join sides it would be mostly for the Empire, the Altmer see them as lesser Elves, and don't make it a secret. They would only be accepted into the Dominion if they'd change their beliefs.

And both didn't need to kill people that way, why do you think elves can't procreate that fast anymore?

Anymore? They never could, there are even sources that claim that they kill their ''imperfect'' children to keep the race pure.

But as I said they might. Elves need more elves and they don't care if the worship a Daedra as long as they worship their divines.

What about bosmers? Do they have that mindset?

They care a lot actually, they were considered outcasts and lesser the moment they went on the exodus to Morrowind.

No, but they still breed very slowly.

Then they are really THAT racist? How are they going to keep Tamriel in check then? They got to have some hidden ace under their sleeve to be so bold then. Joining 2 of the best sneaking races, one ranged and one meelee, being great at magic themselves, the might have something or their strategy is just that strong.

They are too smart, maybe enough to keep the Empire in check

If the Empire retains Skyrim, the Empire will win the next war.

Even if the Elves won all humans would rebel constantly and there would be no hope for peace.

Seems like an intresting storyline for the series though. Elven victory ===> Human Rebellion ====> Argonian intervention with some very mean revenge ====> Human and Elves as wel as the beast races unite to fight these sudden hate driven invaders ====> They win at a great cost. ====> All Human, Elven and beast kingdoms are exhausted and ruined, ====> Akaviri Races arrive ====> ????? =====> Profit???

Apocalypse... Doesn't sound so fun when you've been worn out by apocalypse/world war games (fallout, borderlands, rage (terrible game), home front, cod)
  • February 19, 2013 9:37 AM EST
Not as an apocalypse but as a retake invaded lands, like the civil war fights without politics!

    Yay!

    Rage wasn't terrible.

But it wouldn't be an apocalypse, it would be total war. The land might be devestated after so much war but I wouldn't call it a wasteland in the least.

The way he described it, I thought apocalypse
  • February 19, 2013 9:43 AM EST
Barricades, catapults, more guards/soldiers, more useless NPCs that are prone to dying(so no quest ones do) and more enemies(wich lack a little in diversity in Skyrim)

You can't tell me that the ending for rage wasn't terrible. It was a boring game, the plot was weak, the side quests were weak, the gameplay was subpar, and the graphics were bad on both console and PC... It was bad
