HIDDEN GEM The Visionary

    Welcome to the Hidden Gem Spotlight! This week Vazgen has chosen the Visionary by Matt Feeney.

    The Visionary features one of the most prominent deities of Redguards (if not the most prominent) - HoonDing, in an unusual character, detailed in the corresponding RP Profile.

    The build features two "forms" that synergize with Matt's trademark style. Switching between the forms is seamless and requires only minimal extra skill investment (two perks in Block) while allowing for a variety of approaches to any combat situation. A prophet, wielding enchanted Silver Swords and bending the wills of others or a reincarnation of HoonDing, slicing through enemies like hot knife through butter with his legendary Shehai - all get the job done, one way or another.

    We think that the Visionary is one of the best examples of what character building is about! It's rich lore background, unique roleplay and engaging gameplay are definitely worth your time. It deserves better than Exemplar rank and you can help with that by just giving it a well-deserved 'like'!

    He also has only two Archive tags and no rank or race tags which severely limits the number of places the build appears in...

    Hi, CB Host Billy Mays here!  I had added the rank tag to The Visionary a little while ago; it would be nice to stop arguing about the Rank Tag system and focus on Matt's build, which is the topic of this post.

    Billy Mays has done a great job at fixing tags for all the fresh builders. And making sure every build has a proper rank tag would be a daunting task. I doubt anyone is going to check each build to make sure it's properly tagged. I'd just check the bumped...  more

    As it has been stated many times, it's up to the builder's to add tags, not the hosts.

    Good choice again, Matt's build is definitely under-appreciated. Looking at the most recent poll results in which Redguards are trailing by a huge margin, it is easy to see why it hasn't been more popular and that is no fault of Feeney's or his build.
