Crying with laughter at how "awesome" this build is. It needs to be in category 80 for sheer shits and giggles. "When you were a young Nord" and "Breton Vampire Lord". I commend you good sir.

Oh, and I don't think anyone will seriously try this build.

I'm sorry, but I can't give this a like. Needs more cyan text, unmarked quest spoilers, abuse of patched glitches, blatantly false information, and in-game screenshots stolen from other builds to earn my like. And by Talos is that a high-res picture with the entire skill list on it? This is so legible that I could actually make a functioning character from it, which is unacceptable  I'm also going to have to deduct points for actually completing the build, and not deflecting any criticisms by stating that it's a WIP.

Good job liking your own post, though, probably the most professional thing about this build.

    Ye gods, it's beautiful!

    +1 for pure satirical genius.

Believe it or not, this is extremely similar to the build my brother plays.

You know what I find rather strange? In less than 24 hours, this has gotten more likes than:

    • The Tinkerer, just under a month old and the first build to really look in to spider scrolls
    • The Veteran, almost 6 months old and the first build to use every combat style with minimal crafting
    • The Bard, almost a year old, the first build to make heavy use of staves
    • The Horseman, about 10 months old, the first (and only, I believe) full mounted combat based build
    • The Bloodletter, 9 months old, using the previously unexplored mysteries of the Equilibrium spell
    • The Stalker, over a year old, the first real ranger build and one of the first on the site, updated about 6 months ago
    • The Commander, another one of the first builds on the site, used a unique playstyle of two handers and illusion. Updated about a month ago
    • The Arcane Marksman, about 2 months old, which really looked into the Bound Bow and how to keep it viable at high levels
    • The Arcane Assassin, my newest build, about a fortnight old. Unique in that it was a pure spellcaster that used daggers only for instant kill assassinations.
    • The Witch, over a year old, the first stealth mage build on the Blog
    • Not to mention the 4 or 5 builds I have down in category 20, but I need to do some work on those

So this monstrosity I shat out in an hour or so got more likes in 1 day than many of my others have gotten in months.

I said the same thing to my friend. He said it was either: A. An elaborate April fools prank that we weren't apart of. Or B. just because people want a cheap laugh (at something that isn't funny) and liked it Or C. Just because your name is Ponty, they will like it anyways.

Bryn, is your friend who I think it is?

  • April 2, 2013
Who do you think it is?
  • April 2, 2013

Yeah, Ben brings up a good point on all accounts. Bryn, I think I know who your friend is, and I know he's wrong.

Exactly Ben. Each of the builds Ponty listed may appeal to certain playstyle, certain character while this build shows something that almost all the members of the blog has seen once in a while and they can all relate to it. The likes for those builds are a reward for Ponty's hard work, the likes on this build show the appreciation of a joke and are a testament to the human sense of humor.
