Hi Guys,
I got a quick question for you. I am currently looking into updating one of my builds and I need to know if there are more usages for sideways power attacks other than just the aesthetics? Sure, a sideways power attack puts you in a position of the power attack, that much i know. However, is there anything else we can benefit off from the move?
I was thinking of a few options, all with 1 hander weapons and spell (Spellblade playstyle)
Whatcha guys think?

This is really cool, I will be sure to try some of these on in my next gaming session. I really feel like we need a kind of duelers club or thread to discuss weapon tactics and techniques (Like which power attack to use when an enemy does a straight down power attack, ect, ect).

As a primarily melee player I enjoyed this, and learned a thing or two. In addition:
If you have Shield Charge, then you can increase your sneak speed by entering block mode while sneaking.

So here is a basic question: Is there any advantage to using one-handed blocking techniques vs just throwing a shield in that empty hand? e.g., Why would I choose to shield charge with a sword rather than a shield?
I can see why using these techniques with two-handed weapons would be beneficial(your hands are already full), but i haven't quite grasped the case for one-handed.
