Same result with Gauldurson brothers and Draugr Death Lord with Zephyr and\or Ebony blade.

Np man, are you sure that you made this trick using Dread zombie spell and not the scroll\staff version? I tried in that way too and Draugr do not become ash pile, but the problem remains.

Well to my knowledge, Staffs don't create ash piles (no idea about scrolls) I had tested it once briefly awhile ago though. I had my friend test it last month (I think) and it worked. Wait.... What Raise Zombie spell did you use? And did you cast the spell at the door then gone through it?

Scrolls don't create ash pile too!

Raise dread zombie spell, scroll and staff. I casted it inside the dungeon and when the Draugr changed cell became an ash pile as normal but unlootable. I also tried to cast the spell just before go through the door with the same results. With scrolls and staves everything goes well until any foe kills the draugr during combat if it wields Zephyr, ( I tried giving it an ebony bow but it prefers Zephyr)  so I decided to don't give it any arrow and left it only a melee weapon. With the ebony blade I found it impossible.

Hmmm. Did you have any perks in Conjuration? And what did you try? The Staff, Scroll or Spell?

I'm afraid that as far as I know this doesn't work. I've tested it quite a bit on the ps3 (being a massive necromancy fan) and have never had any luck. The permanent items prevent corpses (non raised) from despawning but don't prevent a raised corpse from turning to ash, nor do they alter the timeout on a raise spell (of any type afaik). Of course there is always the possibility of seeing different behaviour between platforms etc.

Damn.... *sighs* I shall try once more on PC and I shall document the results, I had really believed I was onto something here. If it doesn't work on PC then I shall delete the discussion.

Don't you mean "despawn" rather than "respawn"? Or are you telling me you can get multiple copies of, for example, daedric artifacts, or keening, if you wait long enough?

I meant despawn for the permanent items. Apologies. I'll fix it now.
