Thank you very much, I really appreciate your feedback!
1)For the Aetherial Crown I wanted to leave the other stone up to the player but the main use was to switch the atronach stone on and off. It is rather amazing that you found that combo. I am going to post that in the build if you don't mind me stealing your concept.
2) The Guardian I had picked up at level 32 and I had around 300mana which it filled completely. Now im level 47 and It fills almost all of my 520 mana perfectly. The combo sounds very useful which could make the Guardian one of the most useful summons in the game.
3) I completely agree with you with replacing the Aetherial crown and the enchantment being redundant.
Thank you once again for your feedback, Ill get working immediately.

Just one thought, WOW!
Now i can get back to my stunted mage playtrough
On a side note, does anyone know if the dragon priest masks (specificaly the elemental ones) conflict mage armor? Thx in advance
And oh, +1

Well, thanks man. Maybe i just drop a perk in mage armor and try the elemental masks... I just find it a shame they had to make it armor, some would be perfect... Wel... Masks... Witout armor. Or make it mimick the chest piece for armor style... Here's hoping
And just to let you know, I wil incorporate a lot of this in my current character (using heavy armor for the damn masks)

I think this is going to be the first build I actually give a genuine go at from this site. Going to make a few alterations but the core is going to be there. I've been itching to have a go at staff enchanting as a main feature and this is a perfect type character to do it, the benefit is you can dramatically cut down the need for a large magicka pool which I might just plow into health to make the character a non armor (alteration) mage tank.
Haven't really used Miraak's staff but it sounds amazing for dealing with melee opponents and with mage's made virtually useless, this only leaves archers as any real threat which ebonyflesh and 400+ health should more than suffice. Offensively I was thinking a combo of Miraak's staff or a paralyze staff with the ignite spell from the ring of arcana...can't move, poisoned and have a huge DoT eating away their life. Neloth is easily my favourite character so this is going to be fun (plus the house in raven rock is awesome). I'm not used to a mage build but this has actually inspired me to give it a go. Can I like this build twice?
P.S.
I might even give ash spells a go, amazingly long lasting paralyze but I cant damage them, still makes for awesome crowd control (AoE ash rune is ridiculous)

A neat addition that you could use for this build is the 'Secret of Arcana' from the Blackbook Filament and Filigree. Ability to cast telekinesis/detect life for free can get you from level 15-100 in one cast, kinda game breaking but might help out
