@Wulfhedinn Jesus i've never seen so much Khajiit lore in a single post :D Now i know who to Ask for Khajiit questions :D

Well, damn. You've got yourself a real treat here, Vezrabuto. That was almost an article from Wulf right there, and so much stuff I myself don't even know - Khajiit not being my expertise, but still... Well, I think we've got ourselves a Khajiit expert now :)

:D I'm just fascinated by the lore of pussies - er, that is to say, Khajiit. (Whew, almost turned into Phil there) but yeah, they've been my favourite race for the longest time. I'm like Karves with Orcs or Cal with Dunmer, save I'm for Khajiit!

     What Argonian Factions exist?

I know about the An-Xileel and the Shadowscales, but are there any magic oriented Factions?

Love these ideas GailOlm! Way way better than my ideas, taking them to not one but two different experts is an awesome idea, and makes the world feel a little more connected. Of course Farengar would know of Danica's expertise eventhough we never see them interact in game, why didn't I think of that? Great post mate.

    Thank you! :)

Even though certain NPCs don't interact in game, I would expect that in cities or towns most of the people know each other or at least know of each other's expertise or be aware of the types of shops they run. In Whiterun, we can see this in the miscellaneous quest "Salt for Arcadia." Though we never see Arcadia or Farengar interact in game, it's obvious through the quest dialogue that they know each other.

I think this is more of a lore question mate, you can head over to the Lore group and they should be able to give you a really detailed answer :)

Just to add to what Zonnon said, Lore Group is curently in the phase of spring cleaning, doing some changes and such, so in case you - and this is means also other people wanting to ask questions - post every questions as a new separate discussion in the group. We're getting really close to making an announcement about that, but still have to hash some things out, so I'm just gonna leave this here and retreat back into my corner... :D

I like GailOlm's idea about training with a wizard to learn the "spell" part of a spell, and training with someone else to learn the practical side. I'm trying to incorporate this into my RP, by getting Bound Sword from Treva's Watch and studying under Runil until my character is able to summon a Flame Atronach to get into the College of Winterhold, but I'm not sure why my character would know to go to Falkreath (MAYBE Faralda would give him a lead, but that doesn't sound plausible since she's part of a big institution and Runil's just a priest in a small town). He's a Khajiit, so he can't study the practical side with Athis or Amren (not allowed in cities until a certain skill level in speech), and Dushnik Yal is too out of the way.

I assume all priests know each other, so maybe once your character enters a town for the first town he beelines for any priest hoping they can help him, but they defer him to Runil in Falkreath. If you don't wanna do this maybe you could get chatting to a random Conjurer at an inn (ie Marcurio, but any random NPC could be RPed as this) who again defers yo to Runil. I like to think that Skyrim is more connected than the game shows, so it wou;dn't be too surprising that people in the same field would know each other, even if they lived miles away.

Zonnonn has already discussed how to incorporate getting your character to Falkreath and those sound like plausible reasons.

Regarding having access to One-Handed training for your character, I like how you've set the limitation on your character not being able to enter cities (until he reaches the speech level) because he's a Khajiit. In fact, it might be this very reason that would lead him to seek out training from Burguk in Dushnikh Yal instead of Athis or Amren. This could add another element to your roleplay. Since both the Orc and Khajiit races either choose not to enter cities (in the case of many Orcs) or are prohibited from entering cities (in the case of Khajiit, including your character), your character might find this to be a common bond with the stronghold Orcs.

Since your character is a Khajiit, he probably has a good rapport with the Khajiit of the traveling trade caravans. In turn, the Khajiit in the caravans encounter many travelers as they journey across Skyrim. It wouldn't be suprising if they had heard rumors of an Orc chieftain who was proficient in one-handed swordsmanship. To roleplay this, you might not want to head to Dushnikh Yal until you encounter one of the Khajiit caravans and speak to the NPCs (roleplaying that they're telling you about the Orc chieftain).

Of course, when you reach Dushnikh your character would need to retrieve the Forgemaster's Fingers in order to become Blood Kin. As this is a test, perhaps the chieftain expects you to fail but when you return with the gauntlets he's so impressed that he agrees to teach you about one-handed swordsmanship.

The fact that Dushnikh Yal is out of the way wouldn't necessarily be a deterrent for heading there but instead would underscore the determination of your character to seek out the training that he desires.
