Just so you PC players know, the Unofficial Skyrim Patch fixes the glitch with the imperial luck, and only applies the ability to the imperials.

As a side note,
I've done the 'No stone' quest about a half dozen times on vaious characters so I'm somewhat familiar with the stone locations and how to get them (plus I use a mod that adds map markers because I'm a cheater). My last character that I completed this quest on took an estimated ~10-12 hours to gather all 24 gems and return the crown to Vex. Obviously those that have never done it before will take longer but for anyone wondering what type of commitment it takes I'd suggest a character that has decent/good combat skills can probably complete the entire questline in 12-20 hours depending on if you've completed any quests beforehand. If you set your goal to finish it, it really isn't all that difficult.

the patches fix a lot of these types of 'issues'. I'm personally not a huge fan of them simply due to their scope but for anyone on PC that doesn't want to deal with these idiosyncracies they are well worth looking into.

So Treasure Hunter isn't worth it, and I'd have better luck getting enchanted weapons from shops? And my Argonian isn't supposed to find gold in Nordic burial urns?
