Can you imagine that with Aela stabbing me in the side with her dagger. Red standing over me drooling, Omega trying to chew my arm off. Let alone everyone else...

I have similar circumstances, except replace wife with sister who expects me to have stuff to read every time I visit. She actually got mad at me today. LOL

Well my problem was that my original location for Straag Rod was Steam forums, which only allow 1000 character limits per post, so stuff had to be bare minimum.

I think a lot of people have that one person in mind that they write for. I know I do. :)

HAHA, I can imagine it. Imagine me with a crate full of tomato and skooma extras.

Much more on the latter for me. I'm not much of a technical writer, & I really respect those who are; Okan's guides, for instance, are excellent, but when I get to write I just put down what seems right for the story, & forget much of what I've tried to learn! I will go back & correct anything that doesn't seem right in the narrative, but most of my editting is details. That's something I know to do already - and am fussy about!

I also would like to be a professional writer, but it's not a concrete aim at the moment; I would also like to be a rock star!

That's what I love about your writing Sotek: it's character-driven, with imaginative story-lines. I feel that way with Shinbira: it's his story, not mine!

I think if I was writing a novel my approach would be very different. I would wait, go back, rewrite: take my time & be more patient, as Okan advises. And maybe I will one day. But for now I'm aware of an angry Dunmer with a large bloodied greatsword standing behind me and shouting "Get on with it!".
