Ahh I never really used followers or trainers that much so I never though of that. I think I'll try this out after I play through your "Arcane Bladesman" build
Ps- I love the Arcane Bladesman build btw. Funnest build I've ever played :D

You don't need to start the main quest. If you really want to do it though you could always get a follower and pile onto them gear/potions that you buy with all your money from fencing stuff.

Dude, he's a CAT BURGLAR!!!!!! bwah hahahahaha!
sorry, couldn't resist.
THANK YOU for this build. I have never been able to become the leader of the TG and get the cool black armor because I always found Vex and Delvin's endless "go here and do this" quests to be bloody boring. And you have to do a ton of them. With this guy, they look fun!!
One thing I've always loved about Bethesda games (Fallout series too) was that you could go through the game as a Speech-oriented, non- or light-combat character. Super fun.
For those asking about Dragons/main quest/combat/etc, hey, play the guy as a burglar for 25 levels and then get a combat skill. Lord knows you'll have enough cash to support training and buy the best weapon you could wield. The combat will be easy after you pickpocket all their weapons and armor! Having an awesome enchanted sword (hello Chillrend) will keep you competitive until your Armsman/whatever catches up. Combat is also easy when you sneak past half (or more) of the guys instead of fighting them.
If you're reading this and you've never done a "no dragons" playthrough I highly encourage you to do one!! Just don't ever go to Bleak Falls Barrow and get the Dragonstone and you don't have to do the main quest at all. I actually find the main quest to be kind of boring now and the rest of the game to be way more interesting. You're really on rails in the main quest and have very few options of how to complete it. I was trying to play through as a Thalmor Justiciar character and I really hated having to do Diplomatic Immunity and the quest immediately following it, but there's no way around it. (I used "calm" on several of my compatriots to avoid killing them, but it just wasn't the same.)

How I was doing combat inside dungeons is to relieve the enemies of their weapons (and possibly attire as well) before beating them to death with Khajiit claws/Gloves of the Pugilist. I've suggested elsewhere in the comments that to fight dragons you can always hire some extra muscle and make sure they're the best equipped they can be.

I made one of these a while ago, but I didn't put any points into health. Pure stamina. It's fun because you can outrun anything and have so much inventory room you can hold half of skyrim. It also makes it harder when you're attacked so you have to rely on positioning and sometimes luck. However, I got bored after a while as even when you're finished stealing everything all you can do is slit bandits throats which is fun to start, but gets old pretty quickly.
Edit: I was an imperial and calmed enemies, I should've been a khajiit!
