Supreme Vampire Lord/Beast Form Glitch

Level changing values are all the time a real pain to explain, so a little advice or a well placed link, save us from troubles and confusion. As you can see even in my first build, have huge benefits and flaws is a must in all my playthrough.

I can tell you right now from personal testing. The values of the Health, Magicka, Stamina, Unarmed Bonus and Armor Bonus do not change upon leveling. So it would be best to do this glitch AT level 50 or higher.

    Benefits:

It seems to me like you also gain the "Light footed" Perk in the Sneak tree and may not need to spend the point. (Needs further testing)

Necromage affects the Values you gain from the "Vampiric Claws"

When you level up from 50 - 51, you will gain the bonuses from the perk "Power of the Grave" (it is highly advised that a Vampire with Necromage is had during this so Power of the Grave can be boosted further.

If you take Vampirism rout like I did: All passives, daily powers, Vampiric Drain spell, Resist Poison, Resist Disease, and Resist Frost return to you and you can keep the "Vampire Lord" powers and "Vampiric Claws" bonuses on top of that.

    Costs:

When doing this glitch, you retain the weakness to sunlight, if you take Vampirism back, it is possible to gain a double weakness to sunlight at stage 4, reducing your stats by 120 (150 with Necromage) and making any form of Regeneration in daylight almost impossible.

Guards, Stormcloaks, Imperials and any faction you have not joined will attack on sight (College of Winterhold for example, attacked me), as well as Jarls, Court Wizards and Stewards.

You can regain Vampire Lord, but transforming is not recommended as you will loose all the Vampire Lord powers you had in human form, as well as possibly the boost from "Power of the Grave." (Needs more testing)

That is all I have tested so far. I hope this all helps you out more! Testing all done on PS3 Patch 1.9 while I am trying to build up my Character Build: The Volkihar Titan. (The build I am creating which I would like to use this "Supreme Vampire Lord" glitch for.)

I also would strongly recommend playing this on Legendary difficulty, which is where I will be taking my Volkihar Titan too once the entire build is finished.

Interesting ... I wonder exactly how/why it works. I'm fairly certain that when changing to Beast Form, your race is also changed to "Werewolf" for the duration of the effect. And when changing to VL form, your race is changed to "Vampire Lord"temporarily. I wonder if this glitch effectively tricks the game into thinking that your default race is Vampire Lord, and then Beast Form overrides it only for its duration, before reverting your race to Vampire Lord (as opposed to, say, Imperial or Argonian).

That would explain why the unarmed buff wouldn't carry over ... Though, on the other hand, werewolves get their own unarmed buff in Beast Form and it's actually better than Vampire Lords.

Do you also have access to the Vampire Lord version of Vampiric Drain while using this glitch? That spell is super OP in the most awesome way. I know there's already another way of accessing it in human form, but still, it'd be a nice selling point for your trick too, if it can be done.

Have you found any way to break the effect? e.g., equipping items, initiating quests, etc.

In this case, the unarmed buff of VL is higher than in beast form IMO, 'cause in the active effects list, it counts your new acquired passive skills in this way: waterwalking+40 unarmed dmg, vampire's claws 40 unarmed dmg and resist dmg +40 unarmed dmg, without counting the eventually necromage/vampire buff.

VL version of vampiric drain can be acquired before the glitch in the normal/glitchy way.

This glitch can be made only once, the only way to break the effect I found, is by transforming in a VL, but it removes the glitch forever.

Once the glitch is done, you'll appear near Aela as part of "the silver hand" quest, you'll be a human/werewolf, but with the VL skills too. After the quest, you can freely go to Harkon/Serana to become a vampire, go to Falion to cure yourself and become a normal human, become a werewolf/vampire again and so on, all this things will not break the glitch, only the VL form can do it.

Remember, if you side with the volkihar clan, all guards in Skyrim will attack you on sight, but not in Solstheim.

All the other old methods to buff the unarmed damage can be normally used: ring of the beast, gloves of the pugilist, enchanted apparel, potions, lover's insight, dragon aspect, stacked apparel via chat glitch, mfd, blessing of Dibella, khajit/argonian's claw and berserker rage.

I have another way to buff unarmed dmg via werewolf chat glitch, using only two lightly enchanted gauntlets, but this is another story.

Can't wait to see your build with this Anderson! I will also have mine prepared very soon, just waiting on your post!

Anderson I'm glad you posted this because I've actually done your glitch in the past (see link below for details on where I found out how to do it) and I'm curious if you had different results than I have, specifically with the "Detect All Creatures" power.  I couldn't get it to actually work while in 'human form.'  It appeared as an option but didn't do anything when I used the power.  I could only get the Night Cloak power to work as intended.  Do you have success using Detect All Creatures?

I originally found the glitch you're referring to as the Supreme Vampire Lord when someone by the name "outofthegamer" discovered it back in September of 2012.

    Ah! I can't believe it!

He hasn't seen the part about unarmed damage, the guards are hostile only if you side with vampires.

The "Detect all creatures" power works normally for me, instead the "Bat" one doesn't work properly, it keep only the visual effect and only sometimes.

    Thanks N.N.!

So in this version, does Bats and the "Amulet of Bats" actually work for this? And also, does Necromage still take effect? If not, do I have to take Vampirism again in order to gain the benefits of Necromage and all Vampire passives and Daily Powers?
