I have a character I created for the Fallout LRP a while ago, and I want to repurpose her for regular character profile. The problem I'm having is matching the backstory with the ones in the games. She's supposed to be a native to her region, in the sense that she wasn't born or raised in a vault (which naturally conflicts with FO3), but she's also meant to be a scavver, not a community building courier (which doesn't jive with NV).
What would be the best way to fit her into one of these stories? Or would it be better not to try, and just leave her as...an NPC profile, or something?

Your character's background is not fully fleshed out. Ulysses himself says everything before the courier job in the divide is unknown and doesn't matter as much. So, maybe your character couldn't find anymore locations or things to scavenge and as a last resort she turned the first job of worth, the NCR job. And after they directed your character to the Mojave.

I just have a hard time imagining the Hopeville community not being a long term process, and I would rather not make the character a long term Courier.

From the way they describe it, your character was there for a short time but were there frequently so it seemed longer. At least that's how I viewed it.

It's more likely that the Courier was there frequently, but I still got the impression that they had been passing through for a long time. Still...that's probably easier to work with than ignoring being born in a vault and having the main quest be about your father.

Hey everpony/one, I have a question that I am asking super duper in advance, but if I don't ask now I will surely forget! When I have the money (Probably a few months or so) I plan to buy a drawing tablet, and make a colored reference sheet for Reck Lass from my Fallout: Equestria blog/fanfic (Shameless Self Promotion), and maybe some of my other FoE OC's. I was wondering, would I be allowed to post them here along with a character profile?
