    Lynnara Raven-Wave

(Disclaimer: There may be themes that some are uncomfortable reading about in the profile below. Also, in this profile I am making 17 the age of consent and the age of majority in Tamriel. Because of this and some other parts of the profile this may be a little bit lore-unfriendly, but I hope you still enjoy!)

(Also, the backstory below is a bit long, so if you're more interested in straight up statistics (name, race, birthplace, age, family, likes, dislikes, fears, etc.), please scroll below the following backstory)

A native of Skyrim, specifically Solitude, Lynnara Raven-Wave was born on the 12th of Sun's Dawn, 4E 183. Her family, composing of herself and her two parents, Fanmir and Haema Raven-Wave, had little to no funds when she was growing up. Her mother spent the majority of Lynnara's youth working as a servant for a noble known as Erikur for some extra septims. Her father gained his portion of the family wealth through other, less conventional means. Since he could not find a good job he scavenged Solitude for valuables, whether they were in cabinets, chests, or even pockets, and sold them to Gulum-Ei, a friend of the Raven-Waves.

Even though he never went as far as joining the Thieves Guild, Haema eventually found out about Fanmir's exploits when she ran into Gulum-Ei when he was drunk, and as a result he told Haema everything about Fanmir and how many goods he had sold him and that, in return, Fanmir had agreed to give Gulum-Ei his old home in Morthal as a safe house should the order come for Gulum-Ei to be arrested if he was caught. After learning of this, Haema came back home in a rage, scolding Fanmir for resulting to thievery even if it meant keeping them alive and supporting Lynnara. Tension mounted between the two in the ensuing weeks, and they started to go hungry because it was Fanmir's illegitimately earned coin that allowed the family to purchase food, that is if Fanmir didn't steal any that day.

Eventually Fanmir spent what little coin he had remaining for himself on ale and mead, and got drunk every night without fail. After about 9 days of this, he had had enough. He packed up what was his and only told Lynnara, who was only five at the time, what he was going to do. Kissing Lynnara goodbye, he told her that the constant hate from his wife, along with the fact that he couldn't bear to see Lynnara grow up in as horrible conditions as they were in, was too much for him. He continued on and said that he had decided to either jump off the Throat of the World or go into Ustengrav or some other ancient burial crypt and let the dragur murder him. No matter how many times Lynnara pleaded for him to stay, Fanmir had made up his mind. The moment he walked out the door of their rotting dusting home, he was never heard from again.

With Fanmir gone, Haema had to work twice as often in Erikur's home to gain more pay. It didn't really help much, since she only went from 10 septims a month to 12. But Haema still worked very hard, and managed to get enough coin to feed her and Lynnara every night with the pay from her job and some gifts of coin from various family friends, including Gulum-Ei. Lynnara and her mother ate and lived well until Lynnara turned 17. At this point her mother had contracted Brain Fever and acute Sanguinare Vampiris from a vampire attack on Solitude. Luckily the Brain Fever was much stronger than the Sanguinare Vampiris, and thus the Sanguinare Vampiris was purged by the Brain Fever.

Even though she did not become a vampire, Haema became more and more afflicted by the Brain Fever every day. Not only was her health more and more damaged with each passing day, but she lost her will to do almost anything, making her lose her job with Erikur. Even her personality suffered major losses. With each day that passed she became less of a human and more of a breathing corpse because she couldn't move and was losing her sense of self. As a result Lynnara had to work to support her family. Unfortunately, she was a beautiful young woman, and Skyrim was full of lecherous men, so the highest paying job that she could do was prostitution and the like. She absolutely dreaded it, but it was the only way to get any amount of money to support herself and try to find a way to cure her mother.

Shortly before Lynnara's 18th birthday, Haema lost her battle with Brain Fever.  After the loss of her mother, Lynnara decided that she had had enough. From that day onward, she decreed to never work a single day in her life again. She spends her days scouring Skyrim for valuables and selling them to fences, just as her father did. She is now nomadic, but hopes to buy a permanent home one day.

Still traumatized by the loss of both her parents, she has a moderate fear of love and friendship because she thinks that if she finds a new friend or lover, they'll abandon her or get taken or killed soon after the bond is formed. She wants to live a long life and not die at an early age like her parents did. Ultimately, she wants to become one of the richest women in Skyrim and find a nice young man or woman to marry. She will most likely raise children, but she will definitely adopt if she does because she doesn't like the memories that making love brings back. If she does have a family, she does not want to not have enough money to give them everything they deserve in life.

She has a very intense fear of vampires, as it was a vampire who killed her mother, albeit indirectly. To this day she holds a deep hatred for Altmer and Dunmer. She hates Altmer because of the end result of the Great War and the White-Gold Concordat, as her parents were heavy worshippers of Talos, and she still is. Her hatred for Dunmer comes from a deep-rooted Nordic ideology of Dunmer inferiority. She refuses to deal with anything having to do with either race unless there are heavy amounts of gold involved. She heavily resents the rich for being completely ignorant of her struggle in her youth, and will take any opportunity to steal anything from them.

She will not, under any circumstances, steal from the poor unless there is a large reward for doing so. At the end of the day, all Lynnara wants to do is make enough of a life for herself to make her parents proud of her, no matter what it takes. She may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time when that Imperial ambush happened, but a dragon saved her life that time, and other than that she's never been caught, and intends for it to stay that way. As long as she earns coin, everything is going to be fine for her.

Looks like a solid profile. It'd be a great improvement with smoother formatting in the backstory; right now it's one unbroken block, in a small font. Some paragraph breaks, maybe with some pictures, and a slightly larger, less chunky font will make it much more legible.

I edited the backstory format quite a bit, and may add some more pictures towards the bottom soon. Also I may do a build based on this profile but not before I polish this thread. Thanks for the advice!
