Event Build: Dreamwalker: Reality Shift ability expanded.

  Sooooo! Noodles told me I should post this on here. I was reading his build The Dreamwalker and I came across this ability called "Reality Shift," which I have listed bellow. V

  Reality Shift:

  Requirements: Flame Cloak, Stormcall, Firestorm, Mist Form in “human form”.

  Description: By entering a deep meditation, the Dreamwalker is able to merge Quagmire and Nirn for a short period of time letting his enemies experience the full effects of the realm of nightmares. How to do it: Cast a Flame Cloak and Stormcall. Start casting Firestorm and immediately activate Mist Form ( it should not cancel the casting of Firestorm ). You will see that while Mist Form is active, Firestorm will not activate, even if you take your finger off the attack button. Take your finger off the attack button. Wait for Mist Form to end and then press the attack button to activate Firestorm.

  Knowing the crazy tester I am along with my crazy goal to master every single technique, trick and combo in Skyrim, I have decided to experiment even further with the technique. But in order to do that, I first broke the combo down into two main requirements, before worrying about the shout and which cloak to use. the two key components of the combo seem to be a "Master" level spell and Mist Form while in Human form, which I have emphasized with Bold Lettering in the "Requirements" section, while giving Flame Cloak an Stormcall the Italic writing.

  So my testing led me to discover a lot about this move and helped me gain somewhat of a mastery over it, but I can't test one spell yet... Lightning Storm. But here are my results of what has worked:

  Firestorm

  Blizzard

  Dragonhide

  Mass Paralysis

  Flame Thrall

  Frost Thrall

  Dead Thrall

  Storm Thrall

  Call to Arms

  Harmony

  Hysteria

  Mayhem

  Bane of the Undead

  Guardian Circle

  Now here comes the awesome part! Ever found use for those Scrolls like Scroll of Guardian Circle? Welp, now you can turn those Scrolls into magicka-free button-activation paper bombs! Also, combining this with J'zargo's Flame Cloak ended well, especially when used with the Ebony Mail.

  I'm really glad you enjoyed my Dreamwalker, but I'm not a fan of your discussion focusing on my build. The main idea here is to explain the glitch, not advertise my build. If I were you here's how I'd do it. I'd title the discussion...

  Mistform Expanded: Master Spells Glitch

  I'd write an introduction in which I'd say what the glitch does. Then I'd add a How to do it section in which I'd list all the steps necessary to both obtain Mistform in human form and perform the master spell glitch. Then I'd add an Observations section in which I'd say that this glitch works with most master spells and scrolls. And finally, I'd write a Closing Notes section crediting me for originally discovering this glitch. There's no need to put a link to my Dreamwalker.

  Is this functionally different from casting master spells while using become ethereal? I've not played around with mist form and it's not clear from this or the build (I may well be being dim though!)

  They're different. Mistform can be cast while channeling another spell. It's instant. You can't do this with Become Ethereal.

  Ok thanks. I'm going to have to have a play around with this. I thought there was a t&t article on mist form but I can't see it, must be imagining things!
