     A Month of Short Tales

~ Planning the next AMOST ~

Hello everyone! I wanted to start this discussion to get an official consensus. We need to plan our third official AMOST and I wanted the group's whole input on what month we should do it.

Now some of you may remember that November was our candidate, as decided on the main page comment wall. However, I've realized that there's a bit of a snag with this.

November is also the month of nanowrimo. There might be people who want to participate in this event (*cough* me *cough*) and I'd hate for anyone to have to choose between one or the other.

But it's up to you all. If November is still the best month, we'll kick off AMOST in less than a week. Otherwise, leave your suggestions!

Any time for me is a good time. I am thinking of running a small event in Jan/Feb for TT regarding short stories based around older TES games with the high chance that those featured will get mentioned in the classics groups page.

Maybe if you are willing we could incorporate the two.

Any time is fine with me. Earlier in a college term rather than later is always better, so Jan/Feb.

    I'm on Sotek's and Lissette's side

I'd like to participate, but November won't work for me, so I'm gonna vote for December or January.

I'm also participating in the national novel writing month. So I think we should do it in January/February.

A NaNoWriMo participant here too! (Maybe we should start a support discussion? Just to give everyone encouragement or maybe help them with plot problems along the way? ) Would strongly prefer December or January.

I'm participating in NaNoWriMo during November, so I would support a push to December or January. (January however has the added benefit of having less people travelling, or going on vacation, etc.)

I would suggest, personally, between the ending of December and the beginning of January, like Sotek and Lissette said, because, at least were I live, we get a "free" month of vacation from studies. Aaand also... November is... a complicated group of days for me, so... yeah.

But regardless, I can adapt to whatever you throw at me, so it's whenever you all think it's best.
