Before we get into the build, I want to clarify that this build and playstyle isn't for everyone. This character requires some imagination, for example, you kinda have to imagine that the spikes coming from your bracers actually come from your fist. I didn't use the Alchemy/Enchanting loop, but it would definitely make the unarmed combat easier, so It's optional. I had a ton of fun playing this build. Choosing the armor and boots was difficult, but my inspiration to create this build came from the beautiful bracers! They peaked my desire to throw my weapon aside and punch everyone in the face. So with that stuff said, behold... The Wolverine.

"I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do isn't very nice."

    Origin

    4E 120 to 4E 201

James Howlett, also known as Logan, was the son of Elizabeth Howlett and the groundskeeper of Elizabeth's and John Howlett's farmland. Elizabeth and John were married and lived on Merryfair Farm, northwest of Riften. The three lived in the home on the farm grounds and lived well and were quite wealthy. They were fine until the day John discovered the truth about his son. The groundskeeper, Thomas Logan, was James' true father. And when John found this out, he fired the groundskeeper and humiliated him in front of Thomas' other son, Dog. Thomas was furious, and never forgave John.

Thomas, blinded by pure rage, walked to Riften with a coinpurse full of gold. He walked into the capital and immediately headed towards the blacksmith and demanded a blade. Reluctant, but desperate for business, the blacksmith sold Thomas Logan a sword and dagger. So, with sword in hand, and dagger tucked at his waist, hidden by his coat, he stormed back towards the farm with vicious intent.

By the time he arrived, night had fallen, and the Howlett family had gone to bed. Logan charged the door of the home, swinging it open and slamming it into the wall. This woke Elizabeth and John, but not James. Stomping as he came up the stairs, Logan stopped as he is faced by John. Defenseless, John leaped down the stairs onto Thomas dropped his sword as they both landed on the wood floor, emitting a loud thump that seemed to shake the whole house. The sound of impact woke James up from sleep. James was 19 at the time, and worked quite a bit out on the farm, so was decently built. He wandered out of his room searching for the source of the noise of commotion. James came around the corner to lay eyes on John and Thomas, struggling for position on the ground where they landed.

Realizing what was happening when he saw the discarded sword on the ground, James started running to aid John. "HEY! Get off!" he yelled as he came closer to the two. John had managed to get on top of Thomas at that moment, and looked up at James. In this instant, Thomas saw his opportunity, pulled his dagger from his waist and stabbed John through the chest. "Dad!!!" screamed James as he ran over. John's body being thrown off of him by Thomas. James knelt at the side of his father and started to cry, until he peered up at Thomas, who was bloody and out of breath.

Realizing what he had done, Thomas dropped the dagger, looked at James and Elizabeth, who was standing at the foot of the stairs with her hands over her mouth, and began to run away. James got up and bolted towards Logan, attempting to tackle him. When he grabbed Thomas, they both hit the ground outside the home and suddenly James felt an awful pain in his hands. Assuming that they were just stuck under the mysteriously still body of Thomas Logan, James pulled his arms away, and witnessed long bloody bones being pulled out of Thomas' torso, and appeared to be attached to James fists. James was terrified of the bone-like claws that protruded from his hands, but not as terrified as his mother, who, upon witnessing the manslaughter, bolted inside and slammed the door shut. Scared of what he'd become and what it did to Thomas and his own mother, James ran away from home, and found solace in the wilderness, among wolves.

As James grew older, he realized he wasn't aging at the same rate as he should have been. By the time he was technically 26 years old, he appeared the same as the day he left home. Also, he grew older and his bone claws began to thin and harden from use and growth. He used they for hunting, as he could outrun any animal in the forest for a meal, and beat any bear in a fight. His claws hardened until they appeared more like blades than bones.

One evening, when on his usual hunt, James met another man. This man mysteriously knew everything about him, and asked for his help. James was hesitant, but the man promised it would be beneficial, and it was for a greater good. Feeling guilt for his past, James agreed to help. James fought in battles all across Tamriel with his partner, usually against the Aldmeri Dominion, sometimes against average bandits. After the signing of the White Gold Concordat, James and his partner left the Empire, believing the Empire had given up, they joined up with the Stormcloaks in Skyrim to fight the Empire.

In a battle, near the town of Helgen, Imperial forces were against the Stormcloaks when James' partner was killed in combat protecting Ulfric Stormcloak. As a result, James was captured by the Empire, along with Ulfric.

First of all, you need a gameplay section. It's required. Second of all, I think this could be expanded on by explaining his goals in skyrimc, and just developing the wolverines further.

Excellent Story! If you're planning on making this a build, you need more categories than what you've got. Characters motives, Why is he doing them? and especially the Gameplay section. Without using any shouts or glitches, fighting different kinds of enemies unarmed is going to be a huge challenge. Good Luck.

Just saw this post and thought I could bring my pre-written message, regarding character building with links to all kinds of useful stuff ofc :).

First of all you have to read and understand the Character Building Group Rules. There is everything listed that you need in your build to post it (successfuly) into the building group.
You should also read the Guide to Characterbuilding. Additionaly, you can take inspiration from other builds.
I recommend putting the build into the workshop while you're working on it. To start a new discussion there go to the Workshop and scroll down until you see a button called "Add discussion". You can copy&paste the stuff in html mod there.
It is important that you title your work properly, like this:
    WiP Characterbuild: ???
Your build must have a gameplay section, so people know how to play it, and a perkspread. Read through some of the builds, if you're having trouble.

You can create your perkspread here and put the link into your build (you can also ask in the Art Goup Services Request Tread for a perkspread with picture). If you need any help with gameplay, -mechanics or something else, you can ask in the Character Building Help Desk or in the Tipps & Tricks Group , respectively.

I read through the story and it's actually quite nice. Have you considered simply scrapping this build and making it a story instead?
