Hey everyone, it's Flutters again bring you a character that I took quite a liking to, basically I wanted to make a character based on thieving and treasure hunting, someone who wants money for the sake of money, in their mind money is power, the more money you have, the more powerful your word is.
The Plutomaniac
Plutomania: An obsession with money or wealth.
"Money, that's all it's for, I will do anything for money, money makes the world go around, the more of it I have, the more the world revolves around me. I grew up in High Rock, I was the daughter of a farmer and a weaver, we had very little money, as a result, we had very little importance. When I was twelve, I saw a man at the market where my father was selling his goods, he put a coin pouch down whilst I watched, without thinking I sneaked up to where he put down the money and swiped it. I added it to my fathers money when he wasn't looking."
"Years later, I read books of the nordic tombs in Skyrim, so I travelled there across High Rock all the way to the Southern border, I was captured on the border by some damn soldiers in brown and now I'm in a carriage being driven by horseback towards what I can only assume to be my death... By the Gods is there no luck for me...?"
The Build
I wanted my Plutomaniac to be a bounty hunter-esque character that was also somewhat of a thief, completely obsessed by money and all it's power. She is silver tongued, light-fingered, fickle and greedy, able to worm her way out of many situations and get the best deals with merchants, she prefers to avoid killing people that she pickpockets, if she gets caught she will simply run away.
She uses a bow and prefers it's range, if she is discovered whilst sneaking she will attempt to get away to a place she can sneak again and then return to her enemies (Usually Draugr, Automatons and Falmer) and then snipe them. I wanted to make this character squishy so I also took a no crafting approach, she will be using Light Armor to defend herself, but we are not getting all the perks in the skill tree, as I said I want her to remain somewhat easy to kill.
I also wanted to make dungeons a real challenge, I accomplished this by turning my brightness settings all the way down, resulting in very very dark dungeons, in addition, taking only 3/5 in Steath makes this character easier to find than most Uber-Assassin builds.
This character was played on Expert difficulty to maintain squishiness.

Thieves Guild Armor can be worn up until you have the Blackguard set (Which is obtained in Glover Mallory's basement after completing Paid in Full and Taking Care of Business has been completed).
Gameplay and Combat
This character is veeeeery squishy, especially on the lower levels, honestly I recommend taking out other archers from a distance before advancing, after the archers are gone you'll want to focus on killing any spellcasters, finally you can focus on melee opponents, who should be easy enough to kill since you should have the advantage of range.
This build usually fights on Falmer, Automatons, Draugr and Bandits, although it can sometimes extend to Rieklings, Mages (Mostly necromancers) and Vampires (Although rarely).
You will want to keep to the shadows as much as possible, since your Stealth isn't fully perked up it is relatively easier for enemies to find you, not only does this make dungeons more challenging, but when combined with the fact we aren't using the Light Foot perk, traps will be more deadly than before if you aren't careful.
In the regard of remaining hidden, the Shadow Stone is used as a last resort when you need to stay hidden or to avoid being one-shotted by that Bandit/Draugr with the Brobdingnagian warhammer that I'm sure we've all met...
In public you will pickpocket anyone who has something that takes your fancy, remember that enchanted items are pretty much always more expensive and will get you more money, however, they are also harder to pickpocket without being caught. If you are caught being Pickpocketed, run, run and don't look back, we are not here to kill innocents, only for the gold.
You can also break into people's houses at night and steal whatever takes your fancy, along with pickpocketing the sleeping owners of the house, your perks and enchantments should make it much easier to take things that are expensive, especially at night when the victim is asleep.
Now then, until the Fence perk is obtained in the Speech skill tree, you will want to keep track of which merchants will buy your stolen goods, here is a list of Fences, their locations and their requirements:
Tonilia - The Ragged Flagon - Taking Care of Business
Mallus Maccius - Honningbrew Meadery - Dampened Spirits
Gulum-Ei - The Winking Skeever - Scoundrel's Folly
Enthir - College of Winterhold or The Frozen Hearth - Hard Answers
Niranye - East of the Main Gate inside Windhelm - Summerset Shadows
Endon - Silver Blood Inn and House (Northwest of the Inn) - Silver Lining
Khajiit Caravans - Outside Numerous Cities (Near the Stables) - After Completing Tonilia's quests to spread influence in Skyrim
The Plutomaniac prefers not to pay her bounty, but if she is caught by guards she gives in to her pride and goes to prison (Though she will likely try to break out).
When confronted with someone that won't give her information, she will persuade first, if that fails then she will resort to intimidation, if the victim remains unflinching she will reluctantly bribe them.

I would, but I decided to avoid it, since it intermingles with a few other questlines so I felt it was a little too much of a hassle, although I fully understand why it would fit this character.

Well. in my experience Speech is extremely easy to level up. The more expensive the item you sell the more experience you gain for Speech. One way to level it is to find any Dragon Bones and Scales and sell them, another way is to create an expensive potion/poison (without perking Alchemy) such as Poison of Slow (Deathbell and Saltpiles) and selling them.
Well. in my experience Speech is extremely easy to level up. The more expensive the item you sell the more experience you gain for Speech.
