This is my first build on the site, so if you could give me any tips or something would be great! That being said hope you like my build!
An argonian slave, working the docks of windhelm, you watched as a dragon flew past and killed your the only friends and family in Skyrim. Chasing after it, you ran for hours until you got to Skyrim’s border. It was there you were caught by imperials to be executed. But it was in Helgen where you got your second chance, your chance to avenge your family.
Dragonsbane
Race: I chose the Argonian for the backstory but you can choose any non-human race that fits you. For the backstory just put the character where he would probably be, like an orc in a stronghold.
Stone: The Steed stone works best in my opinion because you're going to be carrying heavy stuff like dragonbones but the lord stone works to
Stats: 0/2/1
Equipment: You’re going to start off with a steel mace and shield, iron boots and gloves, and finally steel armor. As soon as you get to the sky temple though get everything blades except the helmet. This character wants Alduin to see his face as he drives his sword through his scales.
Shouts: This character isn’t a shouting person. He believes if he does it, he will be like the ones he’s dedicated his life to kill, you may use dragonrend since that is a human made shout. If you would like to use shouts though just say that he likes to use the dragons weapon against them.
Skills
One Handed: The primary perks for this are armsman and power attacks. Get bladesman to, everything else is up to what you think is best.
Block: Everything you’re going to need is quick reflexes, shield charge, and shield wall.
Heavy Armor: Get Juggernaut and well fitted. Later get Conditioning and the rest of the tree
Smithing: This skill comes from your background of working the docks. This skill is more for roleplay but I would get steel and arcane smithing for your enchanted weapons.
Sneak: Hey working the docks doesn’t pay much! Sometimes you need to steal a little. Once again more for roleplaying but I would at least get the backstab perk
These are all the must haves, everything I used for the build in my play through but feel free to do what you feel is best. http://skyrimcalculator.com/build/419649/dragonsbane/perks. These are perks only go to level 40, if you would like to go farther, max block and heavy armor, and maybe if you want to do some archery do some of those perks
Background
The Character was born in Windhelm with his family. Thrown into a world where he worked all day and was criticized for his race caused some resentment for the Nords of Skyrim. He resulted to stealing at a young age to afford food for his family. It was tough living in Windhelm. He dreamed of adventure and leaving this horrible place and go on quests, but what he got was much worse. One day, as he was working, a dragon appeared and attacked the dock, he dove into the freezing water to safety. But sadly as he climbed back on the dock, his family was dead. He chased after that dragon for days, only stopping for a couple hours to sleep. He finally got to the border and was mistaken for a stormcloak and brought to Helgen to be executed.
Roleplaying
Alduin killed your only friends in the world, your must avenge them. As you might expect, do any quest that involves killing dragons. Do the Blades questline, but don’t necessarily be a blade. This means don’t join the empire just because the blades work for them. Do the joining the blades questline because you could use all the help you can get stopping the dragons. Kill Paarthurnax, since he worked with Alduin this would enrage you. Kill as many dragon priest as you can find, then destroy them at the throat of the world. Your so exceptional at killing that people call you Dragons bane named after the legendary sword. This is a build that hates dragons, do anything you can to kill them and their followers.
Quests
The Main Questline: This goes without saying, your trying to stop dragons so this is a must.
Dragonborn: If you have the dlc it makes since to kill miraak since he was a follower of the dragons and still uses shouts, and commands dragons using a shout.
The Companions: This is more if you get bored of dragon hunting. I thought it fit well since he really wants to help Skyrim and The Companions do that pretty well and you earn decent gold as well
Dragon Hunting: Seek out dragon lairs and kill all dragons you can find
Argonian quests: This character feels its his duty to not let what happened to his family happen again, so he will try helping argonians to the best of his ability. If you picked a different race then help whatever race you chose. For example if your a Khajiit then help Kharjo get his moon amulet back and other quests like that
Dawnguard: If you want you can be a vampire hunter as well, maybe the character wants to save skyrim from yet another peril.
Gameplay
melee fighters: For melee fighters use a lot of charging attacks and dodging. This build is going to be moving a lot. Use your shield to block for harder opponents like bosses and bandit chiefs if your a lower level.
Archers: Dodge the arrows until your in close range. Then use a power attack. If there still alive just swing your weapon until the have died, archers usually have lower armor rating
Mages: Use charging attacks and bashing for these.
Dragons: When it lands on the ground do a charge attack. Then just keep moving and attacking at the same time. If you would like to get a bow for when its flying, i encourage you do do so, just remember this is not an archery build.

It was good; although him running all the way to the border is farfetched. And you should add some more background knowledge, like where he was born and such.

Okay thanks, when I said ran to the border though was like tracking him, he stopped at an inn and the next day would track him more but I see how that could be confusing

That's exactly it though this character doesn't like the thuum, and he believes dragons should be killed, whereas miraak bends dragons to his will instead of killing them, I like to think of miraak as a rogue dragon priest

Not bad, but not good. Unfortunately, I have to feature this as ALL builds on the site need a gameplay section and a perk spread or link. Without them, NO ONE can play this build! You have twenty-four hours to add these things or it will be deleted.
On that note, I also urge you to flesh this out a little more. If you only chose Argonian for roleplaying, why are Argonian quests important if we can play what we like? Remember, you are making this as a guide for other people to play as and thus, you need to tell us how you played this character!
