Well, in this particular build the items are collected one by one during the play-through. At a specific time, the Wraith Ranger will lose his wraith powers and during this time he will collect 2 items he needs (Gauldur Amulet and Dawnbreaker). Everything about the Wraith Ranger's journey is pretty much written in the Role-Play section so I recommend rereading this.
In short: get vampirism (wraith possession) pretty early, join the Dark Brotherhood learn the required spells, go to Fort Amol to find the 'Bound Bow' spell book (until then you use a regular bow), join the Thieves Guild, join the Dawgnuard, at some point you need to lose your powers, collect the other items and fulfill your wish for revenge.
The quests and items tell somehow a story and they happen event after event
Hope this make it a bit clearer.
