The Expanded Races of Skyrim
"Argonian, Khajiit, Orc, Dunmer, Altmer, Nord, Imperial, Redguard, Bosmer, Breton"
These 10 races are whom are selectable to explore, fight and overall experience Skyrim through the eyes of.
But does it have to be so limited?
This is the question that this topic intends to answer. The reason for this, is that this isn't a build, nor is it a regular discussion thread. This thread's purpose is to give you a new way to look at Skyrim, through the eyes of an entirely different race to what is provided as standard.
How does it work?
In each race's boxout, you are given 10 perks, a base race, a standing stone, a short blurb describing the race and occasionally a set of roleplay guidelines that dictate character creation, the use of armors, abilities and optionally, console commands for users of the PC to dictate height via the player.setscale command (a short Minotaur is strange, but a tall faerie is stranger).
With the supplied 10 perks, one is spent every second level until level 20. The other perk points leading up to that level are distributed into the build currently being played. A few of these races WILL require grinding skills to get the points if they are to be had by level 20, but there's no harm in taking the points later on.
For example:
Level 2: Racial Perk
Level 3: Build Perk
Level 4: Racial Perk
Level 5: Build Perk
And so on.
Naturally, every build is not going to fit exactly with each race, so if the build relies on an existing race or standing stone, use those instead where possible. If a race uses perk points already going to be spent on the build, it simply fast tracks your build's levelling.

My intention for this is to work hand in hand with whatever build given, sure it's fairly roleplay focused, but so is Ponty's wildly popular Paths of a Paladin for example, which this concept was loosely based off.
I personally think it belongs here because I'm primarily focusing on the practical application of perks, stones and races to replicate races not present in the game originally. If enough people seem to think it belongs there and don't want it here, I'll gladly move it however.

I really like this, but I think you've linked your pictures to the wrong one (all character links to the minotaur character and all perk spreads link to the minotaur perk spread).
While I like the idea of using player.setscale command, it does bring some problems as manually setting scale changes damage output, walk/run speed and jump ability.

Fixed! I may also end up uploading higher resolution build charts next update.
Indeed it does and it very well may affect how you approach some situations, you wouldn't go for a direct assault on a bandit camp as a faerie for example!
If you're playing an extremely short race, there may certainly be situations where you need to use console to resize yourself or use noclip to fly, assuming that bethesda don't just up and create a flying spell. Appropriate mods may also be an option in that case for a longer term alternative, if that's your thing.
Thank you for the heaps-up though, I'll be sure to add a warning if I end up setting the scale to extreme levels, however, I've been playing a Kobold and haven't run into any major issues yet.

Sir,
Your Warforged race utilizes heavy armor and the mage armor perks. Heavy armor perks and the mage armor perks are mutually exclusive. If you're using one, you can't use the other.

Ah, thank you! I of course intended for it to be "Magic Resistance" instead of "Mage Armor" but somewhere along the line I must have gotten the two messed up. Fixing it now.
EDIT: Fixed! thanks for the heads up!

Ah, I was wondering if that question would show up! It's primarily down to the racial abilities.
50% disease resist: Warforged don't usually get diseases, benefits of being a robot with a soul
Waterbreathing: Warforged don't need to breathe, if they could drown it wouldn't make sense
Histskin: Warforged can repair themselves more easily than healing a wound is for a human
As a hidden bonus, they do +6 damage in unarmed too and considering getting punched by a robot would hurt more than a human, I think it makes sense
Also, Argonians have a unique eye option that just fits SO well, along with the scale colors allowing the use of additional heavy armors that would ordinarily look very strange, considering skin would show through.
