This is a fast-paced, challenging build on higher difficulty, with no option to hide behind a shield or heavy armor. That said... most fun I've ever had on this game.
Back-Story (lite version...yeah)
50 years after successfully repelling a Thalmor invasion, Hammerfell is thrown into a civil war as 3 treacherous brothers vie for the fourth and eldest brother’s rightful throne. As the war commences, a legendary Alik’r rises to the top, backing the underdog eldest. Against all odds he leads their outnumbered army into victory after victory using cunning and nontraditional tactics. His name is Dragon, appropriate for his fiery aspect in battle. As the younger brothers grew desperate, one of them made a pact with the Aldmeri Dominion. He let an elven army into the country in exchange for a puppet position on a paper thrown, and then watched as the battlemages wrought destruction across Hammerfell. With no answer to the seemingly unstoppable elven force, The Dragon did his best to save lives where he could as the sands ran red with blood. A general without an army, a leader without hope, a warrior without cause, the Dragon was exiled. He fled over the nearest border into Skyrim, where he allowed himself to be captured in his self-incriminating state of mind. With no hope, what is the point of living? As he bends knee and waits for the headsman’s axe, however, he sees a power that could rival and overcome that of the hated elves….Dragons.
“If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck"
Race: Redguard (can use other, but scimitars are kindof their thing)
Stone: The Lord Stone
Shouts: All of them; unlock your true potential as Dragonborn. I found myself using Elemental Fury, Slow Time, Battle Fury, Dragon Aspect, and Whirlwind Sprint the most
Spells: novice to expert level fire (destruction) spells and healing (restoration) spells
Weapons: enhanced Scimitars, Soulrend and Bloodscythe, Windshear
Apparel: I primarily used a set of enchanted light Dawnguard Armor with the single pauldron. Red Vampire armor had a nice aesthetic as well
Perks Level 60
Light Armor: Agile Defender x5, Custom Fit, Unhindered, Windwalker, Matching Set
One-Handed: Armsman x5, Bladesman x1, Duel Flurry x2, Duel Savagery, Fighting Stance, Savage Strike, Critical Charge
Destruction: Novice-Expert, Augmented Flames, Intense Flames
Restoration: Novice-Expert, Regeneration, Respite, Necromage, Recovery x2, Avoid Death
Sneak: Stealth x3, Muffled Movement, Backstab, Deadly Aim, Assassin’s Blade
Smithing: Light Armor through Dragon, Arcane Blacksmith
Enchanting: Enchanter x5, Insightful, Corpus, Extra Effect, Fire Enchanter
To summarize, the Dragon has inherent ability in fire magic and healing, is a gifted swordsman, and uses stealth to set up ambushes and find the best position to attack from. Probably the only Alik’r to wear armor, the Dragon feels more at home behind his “scales”. If using smithing and enchanting to enhance gear feels untrue to your style of play, I would recommend putting points towards the always enjoyable Archery skill tree to make your character deadly at all ranges.
Gameplay
Be ruthless. The desert is a harsh place populated by a harsher people, where morality and honor are heavier burdens than armor. Shirk them. Take every opportunity to use creative tactics with your companion. The overall goal, gaining enough power to take back your homeland, leaves plenty of room to justify following just about any questline.
When playing as this character, especially at lower levels, there are a few things you need to remember. The 5 D's: dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge. Seriously, you have to be mobile and know your striking range to use this build effectively. Companions are extremely helpful in drawing fire and splitting enemy hosts into more manageable pieces, so keep one with you at all times. I usually sent in my tank companion first, let him get surrounded, then ran in and laid out a flurry of blows with Elemental Fury. Always keep a judicious stock of health and stamina potions to maintain duel-wielding combat, or simply enchant scimitars with absorb effects.
First build/post on this forum, suggestions and critique are very much expected

Very well-made and well-presented, especially for a first build! I love the Redguards, they are easily my favorite race. +1 like. Though you can't 'like' your own build.

I read that in the rules too (facepalm). For some reason I thought clicking there would show me who had clicked like... guess I should get some sleep now.

That second picture looks pretty awesome, did it involve mods (looks like Alik'r hood + leather helmet + guard) helmet? Also nice build, +1! One thing I liked is that how it even went to level 60, but all the skills seemed to stay in theme.

yeah, that is modded armor. I'm using Xbox, and the picture I took with a low quality camera off a low quality tv didn't look so good. Point i'm trying to make there is alik'r + armor can look pretty amazing. If I get a decent pic of my character i'll add it on.
